Nice and moody with a cool amount of detail to it, a good and interesting POV, however something in the PP work has created some haloing around the church.
Thanks Alexander. The halo is due to too much 'clarity' in post - used to bring out the detail in the adobe. Normally I'd cut back on clarity to avoid it but in this case I thought it added an almost mystical glow to the church - probably a like-it-or-loathe-it effect. I can easily redo and repost if you think it would be better without. Thanks again for comment.

Something I've come to understand about this photography folly is that it needs to be done to your own tastes. Listen to others constructive criticisms, but only act on them if you really feel the same way about it. I'd leave it as is, if you enjoy that glowing effect. ;)

For the record I'm curious as well. Let us know if you do find out.

I am hoping they are from some pagan ritual or something but my gut tells me this is Glasgow so more likely it was "we have this pile of rocks, what can we do with them?"

I know they are made if Giffnock sandstone and came out of the quarry behind my house.

Nice BMW. I loved those ones. Think its older than a 2002 though mate... Lol... Joke, I know! Sorry couldnt resist.

1st time poster in our PotD section.
I just took this one this morning.
This was one of the port stops on our ferry boat ride in between Split and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
** Part of the first time "big" photo posting blues is taking a 42MP photo down enough to upload :D
