OG Canon 5D and Sigma 120-300f2.8. That was such an awesome lens. Fast and sharp, but I don’t miss its size and weight!

Thanks! I tried to capture an image of the entire cormorant plus his reflection, which would've been really cool, but none of those came out well for one reason or another......

There's a lot of wounds on that poor Rhino! Was it breeding season?

The wounds were from driving off other Rinos it didn't like. It didn't like associating with them, it liked people for some reason. What you didn't see in the photo is 12 other people around her, which she just loved.

Will do. But basically use the photo merge in LR. Then a bit of cleaning to fill in the missing bits in PS. My editing skills aren't very good. I've read some on here use CGI in their photography!

(I missed all the drama as well!)

On my iPhone I just use the Panorama option in the Camera app. 🙂 On my regular camera I stitch photos together.

Well the biggest issue I had when using that function is keeping the thing level. Probably worth the investment of a small tripod. But the auto everything on the iPhone will adjust your WB and exposure as well. There are some manual control apps for the iPhone.

The homestead at the old Kanyaka Station Ruins with some of the surroundings to give it a sense of context. The dry creek-bed on the left in among the tree-line was flash-flooded completely on the day we returned! I wish I had have been staying another day longer so as to have been able to document such a rare event throughout the region. The little building on the left of the entrance road was the men's kitchen.
