;) nice. :D

i definitely need a better camera ... :p

That first pick was really dark on my work's PC monitor, but it's stunning on my Mac! ... i couldn't even see the Closed on my wicked ViewSonics at work. :p

That building looks escher-esque; sharp and strange ... very nice. And i think i can smell that flower. :)

Here's a quick remix of one of zync's pics ... i hope that's ok zync. ;)

Poeben:Here's a couple sunrise pictures I took a few weeks ago. There's also a nice shot of a breaking wave I took while I was kayaking.

Outstanding photos! Can you catch a wave and surf in the kayak?

dhan:I went on a missions trip deep into the Amazon Rainforest in Northern Brasil near the equator and here are some shots - please give me some feedback!

What an opportunity and nice photos. Some slight levels adjustments will make them snap, imo. The monkey taste like chicken? Tasting some fried rattlesnake is as brave as I've gotten in food experiments.

They have been many nice pictures--I'm glad this thread is still alive.

i tried some pretty thick washes on these .. so i dont know .. its hard to descern which pics suit a b&w look , and which would be better with some color ... i guess only time and experience will tell ..

Yes, on the smaller surf days I choose kayak over surfboard. It it tons of fun. I have been out in 5 foot surf in the kayak and that gets a bit hairy. Usually anything over 3 feet I grab the surfboard. Here's a couple of action shots. Also threw in a shot of my friends A4 during our off-roading adventure.

Off to do some surfing now...just got a new surfboard a few days ago. Maybe I'll post some pics of that too.

I know it's been a while since I've uploaded some photos, partially due to lack of shooting them and partially due to lack of involvement with MacRumors.com but here's one from July 4th. I have a couple dozen other good ones and I can put the full size ones up on my dot mac account if anyone is interested in using them for their desktops.

Were you the least bit tempted to post that in "Show us your dock?"

We'll look forward to more Maine pictures!

Whoa, that's a spooky house.

Does it always look like that or were you just at the right place at the right time?

Excellent photos Mr. A. :)

I got a good shot with the clouds and adjusted the highlights/shadows on that one. Its actually in Millbrook, NY - on our way to Maine. Its an old college. Very cool place and I wish I had more time to check it out.

Those are some fantastic photos there Mr. A. You have some madd skillz...

Thanks :D

I'm really bummed about the seagull, though - I was hoping to get all of him in the frame, but he was moving so fast.....I was crouching up to him and wanted to force him to fly to catch him in mid air, but I think I'm going to need some more practice :D

Here he is right before flight....

Hanging out in New Mexico

This squirrel was happy with himself after raiding the bird feeder, then hanging out to see if there would be more treats.

Very nice pictures Mr. Anderson, thank you for sharing. Very good quality as always. ;) It seems that picture taking takes patience. You have captured the moment very well.

Thanks! Regarding the assistant, I spoke with another local photographer in the 360 business on Friday and although he's too busy to help, he does have a contact that should be able to handle any jobs that I can't get to for a reasonable split. Not sure yet what equipment he has or how much experience, so in the mean time, I'll continue to burn the candle at both ends
