Believe me, I am not a fan of animal cruelty. Just took this shot while visiting Spain.

I took this photo while waiting in the Providence train station to meet my girlfriend as she arrived from Boston. It was pitch black out and the skylight on the domed ceiling above looked quite interesting.

Well I just moved to a pretty dark place and am trying to improve my night photography. This is a crop of about 50% of the original image - I want to go back and try again for a sharper version.

Don't remember the settings off hand, but should be something like 200mm @ 5.6

I like how anyone with a camera that takes a black and white picture is suddenly a photographer.

Who are you to judge?

A photographer is anyone who takes pictures with a camera. It doesn't matter if it's b/w, colour, IR etc. This digital photography forum is open to macrumors members of all ages and abilities. So, yes if a member took a b/w photo and posted it in this thread then they are a photographer.

I like how your first post in this thread and the digital photography forum is entirely negative. Why don't you post a photo and contribute something rather than just slagging other people's work off.

Anyway...here's mine for today.

Hear, hear!

Pointed the camera the other way, and it still took pictures!
Flowers nestled in the dunes- the ant is a bonus I didn't even
notice it or I'd have tried to get it in focus. Still learning, don't
do b+w yet.

...and your point is...??

I like how someone who makes no sense is suddenly a critic... care to explain your comment, or do we just write you off as stupid? Your choice...

Let's keep our professional hats on ladies and gents. :)

Nice work all around, you guys make me want to try lots of new photographic techniques.
