That's more like it - a great shot! Nice use of fill flash.
However, the EXIF says you used manual exposure and auto bracketing. I thought the D40 didn't have bracketing?
Beautiful color and nice composition!
I have to echo what's been said above, these colours really stand out well.

Another great shot yakamoto, seems like you have a really good sense of exposure and feel for that camera.
As long as we're doing birds..
Thanks alot,
My next one is to try a in-flight shot like yours here. So far I've been unsuccesfull. Any tips for me?

I'm enjoying this one. If I may suggest, my thought is to emphasis the chair more, by cropping it more tightly or bringing out the hilights on the chair more, so it doesn't disappear into the wall and get lost. But I am not viewing it on a calibrated display, so maybe it is just my monitor.

Wow that is a great photo, where in Thialand is that?

Taken with a P&S Nikon.
I took this picture for my first Digital Imaging assignment.
I changed the levels and did some dodging and burning.
Any critique would be appreciated.

This is a superb wildlife capture. Personally I would lose the border. This image would look even more stunning on plain black mount..... Personal prefs
