Statue in the foyer of the MS Zuiderdam. I got pictures of several of them, but this one had the loveliest expression on her face.

my first post on here in about a good 3-4 weeks. just trying to get back in the groove

Having JUST written an essay about the importance of the eye in relation to portraits, I see this image and its unwavering focus. Great job! By chance, is there any way I could get a larger resolution of it?

You should have politely asked them to line up the planes better, the symmetry would have been nice ;)

Picture of a drummer I took for a friend's band.

Any comments?

^ yeah. Tell them they need to get an acoustic drum kit, and to dump the POD for a simple distortion pedal :)

(Actually, it looks like a decent electric kit, and they are good stuff. Also, the POD is a pretty nifty tool and I'm sure he's got it for a reason. I suppose I'm jealous, as I'm selling my Flex II in preperation for college...)

Ha, but there is latent symmetry here if you look at the tail fins of the 747s alone and the tails of the smaller Airbuses alone. If the picture had been taken from a better angle, the 747 ducks and the Airbus ducks would have been lined up in two rows. :)
