1st try

Ok, here's my first try at posting.

Taken after a recent snowstorm. Temperatures were near freezing, so there was some melting. This water droplet was clinging to a small twig on my Japanese willow, where I snapped it fairly close up. I then enlarged, cropped and rotated it 180 degrees. doesn't it look like a goose head?

You can see the neighbor's Corvette (covered in snow) through the droplet. (That's why I turned it over...)

Nikon D70
Standard lens (don't remember size, I'm not at home with the camera)

Sorry, no data since I am not at my own computer!

Edit:

Used a Sigma 28-90mm lens with a (I think) 2+Quantaray 55mm close-up screwed onto it.

Make: NIKON CORPORATION
Model: NIKON D70
Exposure time: 1/1250 s
F number: 9.0
Metering mode: Pattern
Flash: Flash did not fire.
Lens focal length: 90.0 mm
ISO Speed Used: {0,1600}
Focus Mode: AF-S
Lighting Type: NATURAL

That's what I said, too, when retrieving the EXIF data in order to post it here. That doesn't sound right, does it? I had the thing set in Aperture priority, just as I usually do when shooting, so it should've come in at either f/4 or f/5.6. I use Smugmug so maybe it messed up the EXIF.

Oh, it's not that I didn't believe you. :) I was just like, well, wtf? :D

There are a few others in that Flickr set. I really like some of 'em... keep a look out over the next few days.

I haven't posted one in awhile, and won't be posting for the next day or so, so here are two recent ones... one will just count for an offday or something!

Shot with a Nikon d70s using an SB800 for light.

Here is one i had as a desktop for a while but had to change it because i got a few weird looks from clients. I like how it came out mostly out of focus.

Ooh, I really like the spider, that's neat. What is 55+50mm reversed mean? That sounds interesting.

Can you post a higher resolution image? I can't really see anything in the droplet.

Now that is cool Seenew. Will you tell us how you get these underwater shots? Are you working with a tank and a strobe or is the camera in a waterproof housing. I really like the hands punching through the surface of the water.

Heres my second edition:

Camera: Canon 350D

This is neat, but have you had an opportunity to play with HDR? I don't know much about it, but I've seen some amazing cityscapes online created with HDR techniques.
