Great tit

Inspired by all the great bird pictures posted here, a picture of a great tit feeding its young. Shot at a forestry commission's campsite last weekend.

Shot this over the weekend in a nice village up the mountains. Shot in RAW, converted to B/W and then dodged and burned a bit.

Awesome photo

How can I dodge and burn a photo best? Just a click command in Photoshop?

I took this with my Sharp 903SH - which is a phone. I am waiting to get a DSLR but they're expensive :)

Any comments?

That's amazing for a camera phone, well done!

Dodging and burning is a technique where you lighten or darken parts of the image using the respective tools in Photoshop (or a darkroom).

Cool! I will have a play. So far, I have only got used to 'selective colour' in Photoshop, but I really like doing it.

I have another photo from my phone here...

I think there's EXIF data in there (there is in iPhoto and Aperture) but I am not skilled enough to make a clickable link to the data as a JPEG yet. It's a 3.2 Megapixel camera. This photo was taken at 2x optical zoom. I then just used B&W in iPhoto and loaded it up to imageshack.

My friend used my rooftop for a sunset photography project for a class, so I used that time to take pictures of him... taking pictures.

It's green and it...

Last weekend. The frogs were watching mating apes. Didn't inspire them.

One of the first pictures I took with my new camera. Just stopped to snap it while walking to work.
