I want to take pictures whenever, but I don't want to become a photography nerd that just takes pictures while others are having fun...

I feel your pain. Went to Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios last weekend, but it's mostly a roller-coaster park... I would have loved to get some good photos, lots of opportunity, but I like roller-coasters, too. Left the camera in the hotel room, and had fun.

I always take time out for my own waves. The surf pix are taken while I rest up for another session.

I think this is a picture that cries out for a ND filter or Polarizer or both.
Its a cool shot, but the details in the stones are lost.

Anyway, here is mine:

Was all auto stuff on my old CoolPix 5400.
Taken at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, just about a year ago.
Tried to fake an ND using Picassa.
