Whether you have a nice camera or not, it's a nice picture. Nice depth of focus.
This is one of my first attempts since switching to digital at taking pictures of a person. I tried to let the light focus attention on her, but I don't know whether or not it worked. Comments? Suggestions?

This is nice - great composition, I do like the backlighting and the lens flare, which really adds to the picture. It's a great location too. Unusual and well-executed - really good.

Nice shot freebooter, how do you like that wide angle Sigma lens? I've been looking into purchasing that sometime in the future.

Regarding the lens, I like it a lot. It's well-built, has nice colour, and I love the super-wide look. One has to be a bit careful with it, though, since the corners can look a bit strained at 10mm sometimes, and the depth of field is wide but not infinite. So, it's important to be mindful of focus and alignment of subject to sensor plane.
I don't regret the purchase at all.
