Well, I was trying to figure out what I was going to post and this gave me a good idea...

There is about a 10-15 foot drop off to the left of that sign, so these were some BIG waves.
Taken in Scarborough, Maine on April 16th this year.

The only thing I recall doing was a (minor) levels adjustment (which I generally do to all my photos), and that did make the colours pop a bit more.

Love those photojounalism style B&Ws. Just curious, how did you get them to let you take their picture. I'd think some might say "Get the hell out of here kid, this ain't no freak show" or something.

Thank you! I've grown fond of this style. People make amazing subjects.

I talked to them first... I had a few dollars and some bus tickets... I gave them a few and asked if I could photograph them. Believe it or not, they were eager to allow me to do so. It was a remarkable thing.

It is my beloved headphone amp (Meixing MingDa MC66-AE) made in china .
I love that thing and use it with AKG 601 Headphones.
It can be used from with 32 - 600 Ohm headphones.
