Thank you very much! I love the bee picture!

aviator

On the banks of the Willamette River. Actually, the plane this guy took me up in wasn't in the picture - a vintage Bellanca float plane, similar to the DeHaviland Beaver commonly used in Alaska. From my previously scanned-for-web film archives, thus a smaller sized scan...

PS: Thanks Steamie for the kind words a few posts ago... cheers. And very nice bee shot at 300mm.

I took this on Wednesday while my car was being serviced. It was a grey depressing horrible day with dark skies with very little detail in the clouds. I quite like this one though Is taken from Ardrossan Marina and has Arran in the background.

thanks silverbird000

Here's a real iPhone that looks like it's folding! (No iPhones were harmed during the making of this photograph.)

Equipment: Canon Digital Rebel XTi. No digital picture manipulation! See my gallery for more pictures shot with the same technique.

I hope you like it!

P.S. Steamie, thank you :)

Curious - how did you meter this one (what did you meter off of, and what type -e.g. center weighted - nice exposure for the foreground with the Sun in the lens. Also, that's a great blue you captured in the sky - again, especially with the sun. Did you use a polarizer?

It was a really dark day, so I was using a high ISO. It gives a grainy look to the picture, but I don't mind because it fits with the period cars.
