On the banks of the Willamette River. Actually, the plane this guy took me up in wasn't in the picture - a vintage Bellanca float plane, similar to the DeHaviland Beaver commonly used in Alaska. From my previously scanned-for-web film archives, thus a smaller sized scan...

I took this on Wednesday while my car was being serviced. It was a grey depressing horrible day with dark skies with very little detail in the clouds. I quite like this one though Is taken from Ardrossan Marina and has Arran in the background.

Curious - how did you meter this one (what did you meter off of, and what type -e.g. center weighted - nice exposure for the foreground with the Sun in the lens. Also, that's a great blue you captured in the sky - again, especially with the sun. Did you use a polarizer?

It was a really dark day, so I was using a high ISO. It gives a grainy look to the picture, but I don't mind because it fits with the period cars.
