I have been having alot to trouble with star photography, and u seem to have it down! Any tips you can offer? P.S. I love the photo!
Thanks a lot!! I am by no means an expert, but I just use the fastest lens I own, my 50mm f/1.8 and I think I went down to about f/2 and just varried the shutter speed until it looked good to me, this was something in the neighborhood of 10s. Then after importing it I played with the levels in Aperture until I liked what I saw. And thats my completly unprofessional method, but I think thats the basic jist of it, correct me if I'm wrong.
nando2323, it would have been a very nice photo if you were closer. The busy background distracts you from the bee.

Taken at my cousins at a little pond. The sun was just barely still in the sky. The 55-200mm VR lets me go down to very low shutter speeds while hand holding and still get clear sharp results.
