Wonderful shot! That jeep really gives it scale. I wouldn't have thought building an airport next to a huge tree would be a good idea, but I'm sure it makes an excellent landmark.

I took this the same day as I took Stone. It's a building that's directly behind my house It's really neat because my whole street are all homes, however the rest of the area around use is surrounded by really tall apartment buildings.

I really love it. Would it be possible to have a high(er) resolution copy. I promise I won't spread it alll over the internet as my own. Please.

Nice Macro!

Hey! I am living in Fertile, MN. Are you close to that area? I've never spoken to anyone on this forum that lives near MN/North Dakota.

Haha, no you're absolutely right. The buildings tilt to the right. I had it straightened in iPhoto, but imported a bunch of completely unedited photos into Adobe Lightroom to test it out, and just forgot to change it. I resubmitted an edited version of the same photo.

I don't live in Brisbane. I was only there for vacation. Nice place, though. It's right near the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. :)

Anyway, now the majority of the buildings are straight, while some are now leaning to the left. Must be my low perspective --- they just don't cooperate. *shakes fist*

Gah, I hate it when it is impossible to get all the lines in a photo to agree properly.

However, nicely done good sir!

I'm sorry to say, but no. All of the images taken July 30th or before were lost by photoshop (luckly I edited them and saved them before they got lost) but photoshop lost the originals after a Kernal Panic (i'm kind of man about that). Actually, they were still in a folder, but they were about 300x300. And I can't do much with those, so.

Sorry.

Korea has little arable land given its population and mountainous terrain. So, any flat land will have either a building, a road or some gardening/farming. If there is an empty space, it will soon be full of garbage.
Here, an old guy and his son (probably) prep the soil for what will be likely be another planting; there will be no frost for 3 months or more. Notice the green onions--ubiquitous!
The guy in white is out for a Sunday stroll. No matter where you go, there is always someone around to gawk at what you are doing.
Behind him, typical Korean cinder block construction. A lot of the urban areas look like they were constructed as quickly and cheaply as possible.

Where the heck is Fertile? I'm guess up by ND huh? I live about a half hour south of the cities, so not up by there... Is it by Moorhead and Fargo?

I took this picture when I was in Port Jervis NY for business. It is called Hawk's Nest and has this curvy road for a few miles.

That is one great section of road. I drove it on a nice dry day in February a few years ago, as the section of the Delaware River another ~10 miles north of the Hawk's Nest gets a winter migration of Bald Eagles...check out this website for more info.
