Anyway: Adelaide, Australia on Oct 23, 2006.

Two friends and I were walking around because we were bored, and my friend and I, who both decided that we really liked photography (and that's when I decided to attempt to get into it more), decided to bring our little cameras along and passed through what was probably Chinatown. We were in town for a conference.

Good shot. I was there just today, selling wine. Freaky.

@MJ: Why were you selling wine? What.....like on the street? In a store?

I hope you all like it. Please tell me what you think.

I'm sorry, but what the heck is it? I'm just curious. Do you have any photos of the entire thing that you wouldn't mind sharing? Hopefully, people will understand and it won't go against your "1 post per day" here in this thread. ;)

It's my job. There are lots of restaurants 'round there. Unless I'm confused with a completely different place.

Meh, whatever, it's a cool shot. :p

Just out of interest, did they both lose their legs in the same accident or does monoped run in the family?

Oh no no, it's just that I've never heard of a job like that. I always thought restaurants just bought in bulk and got a discount from some brochure they get from a wholesaler or something.

Yeah, I was gonna comment on this one. The buildings in the back have this 2D look to it. It's sort of looks like the buildings are really a print on a wallpaper or something. I can't explain it, but I hope it makes enough sense for you not to report me to the authorities or something.

Anyway, it's cool. :)

hah oops!

Thanks, I have another one that is not as sharp where the fog is up a bit higher, so you can still see the top, but you can also see the ground.

I love fog.

In fact the same thing as in this picture happened this morning, except it was hiding the whole building, except for the tip of the stack.

Possibly the perfect job. Just drive 'round to restaurants and taste nice wine with them.

But back to the pictures... :D

So you're not even "mad", really. You're just drunk. ;) Oh, and they let you drive afterwards. Sweet. Glad to see they care about your safety. :p

Anyway, despite what I told iGary about posting a shot of a kangaroo next (they're not that impressive anyway, although they taste quite good :p ), I'm going to post a "panning" photo........the type I asked about earlier and told Chip I've tried doing it once and failed miserably (see PAGES 1 & 2 of this thread).

(it's 12:09am here, and I waited for midnight before I went to sleep in order to post a photo in this thread!)

Anyway, around 80 attempts later, I got a few good ones. :D It's just that I was holding my D50 with my arm completely extended, and I was moving it sideways (trying to keep it a steady motion), while shooting with my other hand, so it wasn't entirely my incompetence that led me to make 80 attempts at this.

My bedroom with photos in the background - May 29th, 2006.
