Or just a bucket list thread!
I know my list would start off with Hill Farmstead in Vermont!

did anyone ever start the "bucket list for beer" thread?

Depends on whether such a bucket list could (or would) include what one recommends as worthy of inclusion, or whether one is confined to dreaming of legends that one has yet to taste.

And a favorite.

Now, that is what I think of as an example of an outstanding beer.

Lovely beer; do enjoy. I am salivating just looking at the picture.

The first is an IPA and the second is a Saison/Farmhouse ale from Brouwerij West in San Pedro, CA
:)

I hope that they tasted as good as they looked.

Agree with @pachyderm; the images on the cans are amazing. (And I like it when a beer is served in the proper appropriate beer glasses, too).

i love the can on that second one!

and probably the beer inside it as well...

Agree.

Had a Heineken on the plane. In a small can and plastic cup.

Plastic is an affront for tea, coffee, beer, cognac, port........

But better than nothing, I suppose. Hope you enjoyed your Heineken.

Anyone tried this one? A hint of lime I'd guess.

I like the Lagunitas range; some of their beers are excellent.

That glass is both gorgeous, while simultaneously giving an unsettling impression of disturbing fragility.......which I devoutly hope has not been borne by experience.

I note the grade you have given the beer; and, while I do like the label, I am sufficiently - well, old world, - to prefer my beer form a barrel or a bottle to a can......(unless I am attending a barbecue.....or something similar).

ya know, i find that unless you're getting it from a tap, cans have better flavor.

Each to their own and I like the aesthetics of a bottle of beer; for the - ah - robust porters that I love, - pouring one from a bottle into an appropriate glass is an action undertaken with pure pleasure......and anticipation.

i agree with that. a porter from a can, does that exist(?), wouldn't be as good as one from a bottle or the tap...

Plus, there is some +spectacular+ beer that's only available in cans (outside of tap).
[doublepost=1502665393][/doublepost]Some weekend selections - the BBQ sauce wanted to get in the photo (it's excellent, directions indicate: Eat on Meat) - yes, that's stupid Flanders in the background, stupid sexy Flanders.
