I know my list would start off with Hill Farmstead in Vermont!Or just a bucket list thread!
did anyone ever start the "bucket list for beer" thread?
And a favorite.
Depends on whether such a bucket list could (or would) include what one recommends as worthy of inclusion, or whether one is confined to dreaming of legends that one has yet to taste.
Now, that is what I think of as an example of an outstanding beer.
Lovely beer; do enjoy. I am salivating just looking at the picture.
so this thread will do...?
Perfectly.
I just have to remember to have a note-book (the kind you write in) to hand occasionally........when perusing it.
i actually seem to remember coming to this conclusion a few pages back...
lolHad a Heineken on the plane. In a small can and plastic cup.
Tonight:
The first is an IPA and the second is a Saison/Farmhouse ale from Brouwerij West in San Pedro, CA
i love the can on that second one!
and probably the beer inside it as well...

Anyone tried this one? A hint of lime I'd guess.

i like the label...That glass is both gorgeous, while simultaneously giving an unsettling impression of disturbing fragility.......which I devoutly hope has not been borne by experience.
I note the grade you have given the beer; and, while I do like the label, I am sufficiently - well, old world, - to prefer my beer form a barrel or a bottle to a can......(unless I am attending a barbecue.....or something similar).

ya know, i find that unless you're getting it from a tap, cans have better flavor.
Each to their own and I like the aesthetics of a bottle of beer; for the - ah - robust porters that I love, - pouring one from a bottle into an appropriate glass is an action undertaken with pure pleasure......and anticipation.
