Fascinating; sounds intriguing (and yes, I agree with @pachyderm - I want some of that stained glass, too) - but I also want a couple of the beer glasses.......as well.
lol
so do i !!
and some of that beer!
Silly me.
I forgot the beer. The most important part of the equation........
OMER is a high fermentation beer.
Notice the bubbles that rise from the bottom center of the glass, it's even nice to look at ;-P
love treehouse. I havent been up there in a few months since they opened the new place but this was what I came home with last time
Tree House Green. Excellent.
To be honest, the bottle was open already when the waiter came.Is this one of those strange beers that almost explodes from the bottle - foaming - when it is opened? And, where, if the glass is not immediately to hand, some beer may actually spill........as it foams enthusiastically........
To be honest, the bottle was open already when the waiter came.
Still, I wouldn't go as far as to say it explodes - more like a gentle tingle to it.
Enjoyed this when I was in DC last year. Limit of one bottle. Made my three friends all buy one. Great beer!this is needed tonight. While here anyone have suggestions for good pale ale's. I like hints of fruit. Maine's Lunch comes to mind...

This weekend in brews:
I actually agree.Enjoy; though, I'll admit that I have never found the beers from Sierra Nevada to be anything like as good as those produced by Founder's.
I actually agree.
But, I do like the Ovila stuff. They do a pretty good job, imho, on the Abbey ales.
Yesterday morning I threw a 10.4lb brisket flat on some smoke, and the wife made an amazing butternut squash soup. Founders KBS went quite well with it all

no worries!Oh, by all means enjoy quaffing the stuff.
Apologies: I didn't mean to curtail your pleasure; it is just that having been introduced to a few American beers, Sierra Nevada stuck me as more 'industrial' - a perfectly drinkable and palatable beer - than the seriously good brews emanating from Founder's which are a rare pleasure, especially when they manage to get them right.
This weekend in brews.
This was from a release yesterday @ Mumford in DTLa and subsequently sold out. Glad I got mine.
In the beginning it's a little bitter, but you can definitely taste the notes or oranges and peach. I am a fan.Looks amazing: I hope you enjoyed it.
Now, would you care to share some tasting notes?
