It really does. Some floral and pine aromas. Another very strong offering from Russian River that is not Pliny The Elder! What a fantastic label, and what a wonderful beer. And I must say that I rather like your bottle opener.
Does the beer itself live up to the expectations prompted by the wonderful name and label?

An old friend
Little bit of Two Juicy last night, along with dinner. Smoked some ribeyes on cherry wood, asparagus and red potstoes eith brown butter and garlic. My stomach was quite happy
Realize Truth, Belgian quad aged in rum barrels. 13% ABV, and damned good
A tart saison aged in French oak barrels with boysenberries, blackberries, and cherries.
Quite fantastic.

Loved this one. I had two and my wife wouldnt let me drive home - that 13% kicked in real fast.
It was good, very good, but I dont think its St. Bernardus or Trappistes 10 good, YET. And maybe thats because I am not used to ales aged in rum and I just need to aclimate my taste buds to it. I definitely wouldnt pass it up if it was offered to meHow did it compare to/contrast with those other splendid Belgian Quads - St Bernardus 12, or Rochefort Trappistes 10?
Knowing my own preferences, I know (not "I think") that I would love it - I adore the seriously good Belgian quads.
Of course your wife wouldn't let you drive home; after three of those, I'm not sure I could accurately call my own name to mine, let alone remember where I reside.
Late Night by Highland Park Brewery. Imperial Stout with with Pacamara coffee from Trystero and roasted coconut.

This is Kokomo, by Aslin Beer Company, an imperial stout conditioned on Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee beans and cocoa nibs. Its 15% ABV, and with each sip the flavors of coffee and chocolate became more pronounced, one never overpowering the other, but giving an equal balance that led to a very smooth drink. I have two more csns (the last ones they had available) and cant wait to open another!
Dog Rose Brewery, local, started by the Master Brewer from another micro who stopped making their own products - pretty fantastic! That's a Roadside IPA and a Midnight Rider Black Bock.

Should have bought more of this.
