On the subject of interiors, I think VW/Audi have the best. Here's a quick example of a VW interior. I believe this is from a MkV GTI.

I've test driven a couple of Audi A4's. One was a '96 and the other was a '99 and the interiors were NICE. The '96 had like around 130k on it and the interior still looked beautiful. The '99 had like 43k on it and it looked new.

I'm just a sucker for European cars. And for the record, I absolutely LOVE the interior of your M3, RaceTripper. The Cinnamon looks awesome.

I love the interior of my '01 A4.

Here's what happened to it last night...:(

Pic is a little dark, but I can still see some of the damage. That sucks. Hopefully, you'll be able to get it fixed soon.

That '99 A4 I was talking about earlier was a 1.8T, as well. Didn't drive it that far, but you could still tell it was peppy. They only wanted like $9800 or so for it with 43k or so miles. Seemed like an awesome deal, but I didn't get it. I ended up with my '02 Elantra GT, which I love. I plan to hopefully get a European car of some sort as my next car.

I disagree about your take on the new 3 series interior, but there's nothing cheap looking about my M3 interior (and the picture doesn't really do it justice). I often think other cars have cheap looking interiors when climb into them, especially American autos.

That's sick!

I didn't actually say "Golf GTI," so I was still right. :p

I did think it was a Golf GTI, though.

Either way, it's awesome. Wish we got the Polo here in the US.

Oh God no. They're all over the place here in Arizona. People used to hit them all the time on the way to Sedona.

Well i'd say that the audi held up pretty good to the dear, but then again it might not have been that bad of a hit. I love audi's and hope to be getting one soon.

It definitely held up well, but I didn't hit the deer head-on, and it was relatively low speed; like 40MPH. Most of the repair bill came in the form of bits and pieces - A scuff here, a ding there, and then that new fender and head light. The pic doesn't show very well how the door is scraped and indented. The headlight chassis was $980 alone for parts! (thank goodness for insurance!)

I'm really happy with Audi, but I'd probably be getting a S4 next time around.

When my wife and I attended Petit Le Mans (ALMS) at Road Atlanta this year, she got to ride with a race driver for a hot lap on the track (at 140+ MPH) in the new Audi R8 sports car. I was riding in the lead car (Porsche 997 GT3). That was a really nice Audi. She was grinning ear to ear after that lap (so was I).

Not a huge fan of the blacked out emblems, but other than that, looks awesome. They are such beautiful cars. I wish I could afford an R32. Hell, I'd just like to be able to drive one. The closest VW dealership is about 75 miles away and I very seriously doubt they'd have any R32's and if they did, they'd probably be in the showroom. I'm a bit of a pessimist, if you couldn't tell.

theres a couple Rs at the dealers around me. You should give yours a ring. Im sure they jacked up the price but try it anyway.. they'll toss the keys to most anyone nowadays. :)

That is a Cadillac; that wood is REAL. They use some kind of layering technology that puts a shiny finish on it. A Cadillac with fake wood.... i don't think one exists unless they have an aftermarket kit.

I'm partial to this interior:

I think I was sick.

Great so they bother to use real wood but screw it up so it looks fake what is the point in that.

It's american luxury. Something you all wouldn't understand. But if that's your opinion, cool. I think it looks much better in person, but hey whatever.
