S2k! woo!

That's a bit too much 'bling' for my taste, but as a stock 2000 s2000 owner I'm a bit biased. I just love the look of the stock S2000, so slick and smooth, most mods i've seen on that car make the car look too...fast and furious :)

I drive a toaster. Hate all you want, it is a fantastic city/commuter vehicle.

The picture isn't mine. I have a broken hand and haven't been able to wash/wax it.

I also love the Cube. I've been wanting one since they came out in the US. For some reason I hate the Krom edition though. I was a grey one with the SL package:D

I have the same view on some of GM's products, Pontiac for example. Complete garbage, across the entire line.

this thread seems to be full of people who love to make sweeping generalizations about cars without knowing of what they speak. have you even hear of the pontiac g8? the g8 gxp in particular? it's amazing that pontiac made a competitive sports sedan, with a low price without take a dump over all the quality; a sentiment shared by automotive journalists and critics. it's no m5 or e63, but for what it's worth it does its job very well. not to mention had pontiac not been dropped there would have been both a el camino style pickup thingy and a sport wagon -both of which would have been amazingly fresh.

i'm not really a fan of american cars either, i think mustangs (save for the new 2011 GT, any other mustang including the rousch's are wastes for the price), camaros and challengers are jokes. but i've got to give credit to the g8 because it deserves it. you should too.

I didn't like the Krom at first either (I had a white SL before this, with the gunmetal gray wheels).
What grew on me about the Krom was the better interior and the number of options for the price. I like the other aluminum wheel options better, and I am not too fond of the grill, but I won't complain. I spend most of my time on the inside looking out.

The G8 ST was dead long before Pontiac was dead. The Australians sure know how to make them RWD sedans. :D

Though why is the Mustang and Camaro a joke? If any car is a joke though, it's the Cube. ;)

i think motortrend was saying they were reconsidering the cancellation of the sport truck right before they went under. that would have been the most awesome first car ever.

Still will beat 95% of cars in this thread.

If you put a small jet engine into a Yugo, on straight line it might beat almost anything with four wheels, at least in a certain distance.

But that doesn't make the Yugo any good and that doesn't make this whole idea a good one.

This argument is spurious. Put a jet engine in a Yugo and after 10 metres you've got a jet engine. Long live the jet engine. :D

Comfort over speed. Everyone comes to that conclusion eventually. Just takes some longer than others.

Some people managed it. I was gonna suggest to put a massive spoiler on it and some structural reinforcement but then I realised that the Yugo is probably front-wheel drive. In that case, just leave the engine in, weld the jet engine in the back, weld in some bars for additional rigidity, put on some wider wheels, upgrade the suspension and the steering, visit a few 'Things to do before you die' lists, complete the list and off you go! If you are wise, you have your enemy drive the car but even then, select a large, flat desert, so you don't destroy your own neighbourhood. Having yourself as beneficiary on his/her life insurance is optional but advised.

Who said that it cannot be done?!

Well to be more exact, it's a Neon with a PT Cruiser Turbo engine + PT Cruiser suspension

That is true, and thats what makes it even better then the gen1 neons on tracks. :D
Also they started with the PT suspension but upgraded it even more.
