I really didn't believe a company that big can make really ****** cars.. but i'm NEVER buying Chrysler again!! mine served its purpose as a car to move me around in my college town but thats it no more :rolleyes:

What really surprised me, is that my old Jeep Grand Cherokee lasted a full 10 years without any problem of that sort. And technically it's also made by Chrysler...

I used an '02 Sebring V6 as a company car back in the day. Christ, the car was good looking and had a good level of features, but it sucked. Hard. I went on a road trip with it once, the door plastics would fall loose if I hit a small hole on the road. The CD player didn't work all the time, and the right heated seat didn't work at all. Really, a very nice looking car, but so cheaply built that it scared me.

My mom had a 2001 Sebring convert with the 2.7 liter V6. Oh dear god that thing was a POS. You press the gas pedal, the vehicle would think it was a Corvette, but then all the power will die off and you would think it had 100 HP instead of 180 HP. The suspension was squeaking every time it went over bumps and the dealer said it was normal. And the passenger window whistled, dealer said normal after they tried to fix it one time. Then at 60,000 miles the oil pump showed signs of failing so we ditched it for my moms current 2006 Chevy Equinox.

My family also had Jeeps and minivans. I will never touch a Chrysler product for a long time. Despite the new Grand Cherokee looks to be a great product, I just don't trust them right now.

I bought my Hyundai Coupe from a person on eBay for not a lot of money, my first week with it has been snowy, so whilst I haven't been able to drive it nicely through country lanes, I have been warmer than cycling to work!

So far, it's really nice - the best car I've ever had - but needs some work.

Bad bits:
-A CV Joint is clicking
-Dial illuminations don't work - basically have to depend on a mix of Speed HUD on Android and the traffic flow in the dark
-Clutch pedal is a bit slow to move up :s
-No Head Unit
-He washed the car before I picked it up and the handbrake light is always on now
-Central Locking doesn't work
-Two wheel caps are missing

Good bits:
-Bodywork is in great condition
-He hoovered the interior, Leather interior is lovely
-Heating works (This is surprisingly a big thing for me!)
-Cruise control is really cool!
-accelerates nicely on the motorway - didn't get to go over 80 because, well, I didn't want to break the car on my first day!
-Sounds really nice despite being totally standard

That's a good looking Tiburon. (That's what it's called in the US) I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT and it's basically just a 4 door Tiburon. Just a few differences. I'm really surprised that yours has the issues it has, but it's probably got a lot of miles on it. My Elantra has 95k on it with no issues other than minor maintenance stuff and the trunk leaks into the spare tire well. (common problem)

FYI, I've had mine over 100mph. lol I don't really drive fast anymore, though. This was a few years ago. I've also had it up to 88mph in 3rd gear, which is really pushing it. It held up, though. I wasn't easy on it for the first few years, but I've decided to slow down in the past year or so. It's certainly not a race car, but people are usually surprised at how peppy it is. I've had it for 4 years now and it's the best car I've ever owned. Just take care of your car and it should last you a long time.

For the most part, I was fairly limited in what I could spend on a car. I had planned to buy something older and just roll with it for a while, but most if not all of the cars I found in the lower part of the price range had mechanical issues. When this came up locally, I just had to have it.

It may look familiar. It's a 1997 Mitsubishi Verada, but they were exported to the United States as the Mitsubishi Diamante. Comes equipped with a 3.5L V6 paired to a 4-speed Automatic, Anti-Lock Brakes, Dual Airbags, Cruise Control, Climate Control, Central Locking, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Leather Seats and a lot more I can't recall at the moment. It has 160,000kms (99,400 miles) on it, so it's only about mid-life as well. The leather needs replacement and the paintwork is in need of attention, but those are relatively minor things considering it's mechanically and electronically A1.

$1600 AUD. Same amount in USD. It's not the first car i've worked on or driven, but it's the first i've actually owned. It's a brilliant car, very pleased with it and I have some big plans for it in the near future. I've already replaced the wheels with Mitsubishi 380GT 17-inch rims and Kumho tires. I'd like to respray it, change the seat trims and drop the height a couple of inches when I have some cash set aside.

That is a nice looking ride. Not a fan of the colour though :p

Have you had the airbags checked? I know we all hope not to use them, but it's good to know they work, just in case.

Just picked up a new 2011 Evo X. I'm really happy with it!

Taken with an iPhone 4.

 (drool) that's exactly what I want, with gloss black wheels... if only I could afford it :(

But I love my current car!

She is a Late 2009 Fiat Grande Punto T-Jet 120 Sporting in Ambient White, the Wheels are Factory Extras

Just over a year old now, the only things i have done is replaced the amber indicator bulbs with chrome ones, and removed the Punto badge from the tailgate

Here she is:

The Day i picked her up brand new (the other car is a Renault Twingo, the car my friend was driving at the time)

I'd like to eventually have the colour changed. I've seen a Black Verada recently that looked incredible, and being a colour that can be done in gloss acrylic and still look nice, it's probably one of the more cost effective colours to paint with as well.

I haven't had the airbags checked by a Mitsubishi dealer, but the car does a power on self test every time it's started, and it has yet to fail the SRS Airbag system test, which is a good sign.

That was only for the first day of the snow storm.. When I went to clean it off 5hr later it was completely covered.
It is covered again :(
We are having a HUGE snow storm here for the past 3 or 4 days. Whole city has been shut down.

But it makes for fun driving with a turbo+awd car :D

lol, mines a fwd turbo too, it didn't cope well with the relatively mild (compared to your images but not as far as us southerners were concerned lol) snow we had here, was wheel spinning just trying to get over a speed hump haha
