[doublepost=1552506106][/doublepost]@Roadstar , here's some pics of other watches compared to the Galaxy Watch Active

https://imgur.com/a/ZJ9tFC5

Galaxy Watch (46mm), Apple Watch Series 4 Nike+ (44mm), Garmin Vivoactive 3 (43mm), Galaxy Watch Active (40mm)... FWIW, I'm returning the Galaxy Watch (too big and clunky for working out) and the Galaxy Watch Active. My main go-to will be the Garmin but if/when I use an iPhone again, I'll have my Apple Watch waiting.

Great pics.
I like the look of the Galaxy Active. I have the skinniest wrists ever - so it looks like this would be perfect for me!
I use a 38mm Apple Watch and it's a good size so that looks like it could be a nice alternative!
Thanks for posting.

Interested to hear what you think!
So far...I really haven't noticed a difference to be honest! They don't have dark mode in this release. I was eager to test that out!
But I do have to handle it to Google on the whole update process. They really have this down. I mean I opted in and got the update within 5 minutes. Started the down load and install...then the P3XL rebooted and voila....Im on Android Q beta :)

I'm interested to see if the new "enable location only when app is in use" toggle makes any difference in battery life. So anxious to try the beta out. I'll give it a bit of time and read impressions. Don't yet want to run an initial beta on my daily driver.

Thanks :) The Active does look a little bit small, but the Apple Watch there is the 44mm version which is a tiny bit larger than the series 3 I’m wearing right now, so I’m a little undecided right now. I might have to see for myself and give it a try :)

So far this update has made me more comfortable with my decision to purchase a S10 Plus. The worry is always that when the new version of Android is released you feel the missing out factor being on devices that won't get the update for a while. But so far this beta release feels like a very incremental update on Android P. More fine tuning, behind the scenes changes, and settings updates than actual stuff you'll see everyday.

How do you like the active so far? I already have IconX buds from Samsung so when I get my $130 ecertificate I plan on using it towards a Galaxy Active, although I haven't been very impressed with smartwatches in the past.

I've been down the beta road many times in the past. It certainly takes a brave soul. The purple accent in the Q beta looks luscious.
[doublepost=1552521300][/doublepost]I can't believe how much better the Pixel 3 XL display is versus the Pixel 2 XL I previously had. It's astonoshingly better.

I actually liked the watch a lot. Felt a bit more refined over the gear s3 and galaxy watch in terms of haptics and software. But at 40mm, it's just too small for my tastes. If they made a 43-44mm version, I'd likely buy it. This one is going back and I'll just stick to my Garmin for now.

Once we get power and wifi back and my devices charged back up, I think I'm going to enroll my XL 3.

Still at a tail end of a massive blizzard o_O:eek:

Oh yeah, just remembered the Twitter comment from magisk developer that root might take a while :(
What part of the earth are in that is getting this blizzard?

Anyone on AT&T have luck getting visual voicemail set up? I downloaded their VVM app but it keeps saying "something didn't go right"

I picked up a Pixel 3 XL again (I'm crazy, I know) and installed the Q beta last night. Played around with it a couple hours but it was too unstable. Google play crashed multiple times and some of my apps wouldn't work. I'll try again when the next beta is released.

I just got a free Google Home mini for being a valued 2TB Google One customer. I chose a mint colored one since I already have coral and white.

I didn't even know I was a 2TB Google One customer.. I would imagine my husband signed me up at some point when a free trial account ran out.

Denver. BTW as a weather enthusiast I've seen some stunning satellite images from this system...

Screenshot as it started ramping up here in Colorado

yeah, this system is insane! low pressure of almost 972 mb when the center was over SE colorado yesterday. I think it might be a record low pressure for the state. I lived in Denver (Evergreen) from 2008-2014. Miss it for sure, especially the skiiing. Record snow year which is making me quite jealous!

What's up with the poor standby battery of the 3 XL? My iPhone can last for a long time if I don't turn the screen on. But my 3XL fully runs out of battery if it's sitting around, completely unused, for about 3 days. I do have the always on display on, but I thought that used very little battery?

On another note, even though I complain about the 3XL and Android I am blown away by the pictures. I used it for my daughters birthday party and cannot believe how nice the pictures came out. No comparison at all to the garbage my XS Max vomits out.
