Please list phones that have all the new camera features. The Pixel 2 certainly doesn't have them.

That's not fair way of valuing the immense effort and intelligence that Google's AI software engineers put into the the camera. It's a very expensive workforce to employ and coordinate to create features that are genuinely revolutionary.

Remember that lots of companies use AI and machine learning as buzz words but fail to put them to practical use.

There have been phones in the past that snap more than one photo before/after the shutter and let you pick and I believe the auto-refocus feature was in the S7 Edge (or maybe it was the S8, I forget). They're not new, but like I said, Google's algorithms might make them better at it.

So I still was going to consider the pixel 3 if the price remained at 649. If the price infeease is true then I see One plus 6t in my future.

Early rumors point to the new 3 line being approx $75 to $100 higher compared to the same phones last year.

So the Pixel 3 I think will be like $700 or $750 for base and the XL will probably start around $900.

But we'll see soon

I'm convinced that an Ultra Pixel would have had a credible leak by now. Seeing how other companies, like Verizon, have posted the same 3 XL pictures, we have to accept that's all there is. I don't believe Google coordinated some multi-company, cross-country trolling to hide the Ultra Pixel.

The 3 XL will be what we've seen, in all its ugly glory.

Enjoy the show:

On holiday at the moment (still in the Uk) and just driving to our hotel which we are scheduled to get to at 15:55. Event is 16:00 here.
I’ll be straight up to the room hoping for good WiFi to stream!

I’m still wanting to be disappointed to solidify that XR purchase. But honestly, Google could win me round. I don’t want that predicament however. :D

Wasn't the $799 leaked/posted by Verizon? Seems pretty set in, but we will know soon enough.

99.99% no Pixel Ultra. No way Google could have pulled off a stunt like this, giving out prototype dummy Pixel 3 XL's, only to fool us, and today surprise us with the Ultra phone, that has been hiding all this time. LOL.

Then I woke up.

As much as I'm upset about the 3 XL drsign, Google does make great software and that's what they're talking about their software and it really is the best for smartphones blows away that God awful terrible iOS

Pixel slate, Now here is something I am interested in, being a current iPad Pro owner that also has a Pixel phone. Wanted a GOOD tablet from google for a while now.

No interest in the Hub for me either. It's neat. Decently priced, too. $150.
Agreed on the price, nice options for people who want such a device. Nothing compelling enough for me to buy, I prefer to have a tablet with good connected apps.

Those bezels on the Slate will look embarrasing once the new iPads are introduced.

I am Meh overall.

Bezels on tablets make sense, place to hold the larger device, and allow for things like front facing speakers.

What is the Slate price...? EDIT: $599.

12.1 inch display.

Backlit keyboard attachment. Pretty cool.

They are going to have to update how apps work on the Slate as android tablets are a poor experience compared to iPads. But looks decent so far.
