Ended up removing the screen protector from my Pixel 6.
Just couldn't cope with the FPS. I've readded both thumbs again on naked screen twice, and it's soooo much better now.

I have a spare screen protector as it was a 2 pack, so if I feel like the screen is getting those annoying little hair scratches that show in the light I will whack it back on and live with it. But for now it's nice to be able to just use the phone without and have a more reliable FPS.

Also, battery life continues to be way better on the 6 Vs the Pro, but the Pro was still really good. The 6 is just a beast for battery.

It just depends on how my day goes, but I could theoretically squeeze 6-8 hours of SOT out of my Pixel 6 battery, but I wouldn't say I've gotten even close to draining it once. I think the lowest I've gotten in a full day was around 40%.

I recommend the film protector keeps them scratches off the screen ..FPS works as if screen naked ..I'm usually around 530 -6 SOT on my busier days ...good enough for me ..I don't turn off a thing and I have alerts and two emails pinging all day ..Twitter is a heavy alerts for me ...

Pixel 6 is actually the first phone where I haven’t felt the need to start turning off background access to apps and what not. It just does a good job at limiting background use on its own. I used to turn off background use to each app individually, which was quite time consuming!

So this is the “Coffee” carbon fiber Latercase. The texture on this particular version is remarkably nice. It's a bit lighter than this picture in most conditions.

Pretty unacceptable if you ask me. By their own admission, these are their first flagship phones and they are treating owners like second class citizens. Not a good look.

That first pic showed it a bit darker than it really is. Here it is in normal light.

I've got the same thing, but in the black colour. It's quite a lot of money, but it's pretty good quality to be fair and the packaging etc. makes it feel a lot more premium!

I can't be doing with bulky cases, and this adds minimum bulk and is nice and light so works out perfectly, I think.

My only complaint recently I noticed on my 6 Pro is the battery has been draining fast lately. I’ll have to reboot and see if that helps. I finally have been having some trouble with the fingerprint sensor but there’s no dishwasher at my parents house so I’m getting chapped hands helping my mom out. Plus it’s winter. I’m surprised how good the fps on the iPad mini 6 has been. That’s what I want to see used on these phones!

I think under the screen FPS are a hit and miss tech. The Samsung Galaxy S7+ has it under the screen as well. It's a mixed bag. It scans faster than my Pixel 6 but it produces more errors. The FPS on my Pixel 6 is about 95% accurate but I have to wait for it to recognize my digit. The best FPS are the ones on the back of the phone or the one Apple uses for Touch ID. I have absolutely no problems with the FPS on my Pixel 4a and 4a 5G. They are both fast with 100% accuracy.

The past two mornings I've woken up to my phone only being 75% charged. I assume this is adaptive charging but its supposed to reach 100% by the time my alarm goes off, which it isn't doing.

Add this to the growing list of bugs with this phone. MKBHD made a comment during his latest "what's in my tech bag" video that echos my feelings of this phone. He said, somehow this phone has gotten buggier week after week. And that's how I feel. On release I had a few minor bugs but since then they've started to pile up. cell signal has gotten worse, charging is inconsistent, fingerprint sensor hit or miss, screen sometimes manually locks, and my favorite....the proximity sensor stops working during a call and my face triggers the mute button.

I'm holding out hope the January update fixes a lot. Because I checked and resale for these phones is already way down or else I might have moved on already. It's a shame because there's a lot about this phone I really like.

I’m kinda in the same position. Feels like my P6P has gotten more buggy and the battery life for some reason has gotten much worse. I’ve had my sim in it since day 1, longer than I’ve probably used any device without making a sim switch. Yesterday I popped it back over to my 13PM because I was going to be out all day and was tired of the inconsistency in battery life of the P6P and didn’t want to be caught without a phone if I needed an Uber or whatever while out drinking more than I probably should. Well now even though I don’t really like iOS I have found myself reluctant to pull my sim out of the 13PM and put it back in the P6P. I didn’t even put the iPhone on a charger last night and my battery is still around 70%. May still be a little intoxicated from last night, got on Best Buy website this morning and ordered me a Apple Watch Series 7 for pickup later today ??‍♂️

Hopefully the forthcoming update will knock out a lot of these issues. It’s still the most capable and most fun device to use. The call screening is unmatched as is the convenience provided by Google Assistant.

Well, I did it… After going back and forth in my head over the past few weeks, I bought a Sorta Seafoam Pixel 6 off of Swappa for a really good price. I also picked up the Spigen Ultra Hybrid (my go to case for most phones) with a Pixel Stand 2, too. Now, we just need that Pixel Watch to be released! 9C1EC4D3-4C54-41E2-8868-95EA5D75DF22.jpeg

Stopped by a Google store today ... unfortunately my friends dead P6 needs a motherboard and screen ..
