It’s like this on any phone thread but it will turn to bashing and loving more abruptly once it’s released. I have a love hate relationship with both iOS and android but with the pixel 6 pro I’m intrigued by their in house chip and how it performs. But my heart will probably topple over the pixel fold if it’s truly coming out this year and google doesn’t side step on features etc. I know it’s googles first attempt at a foldable but they’ve learned from the best and they are really good at software optimization. Exciting times all around
Jeez I go out to dinner and what happens? Tig’s been here forever and he loves taking the p out of Samsung but as a Samsung fan girl I know he is just talking smack for fun and always does so. Yeah he doesn’t like Samsung but he’s the first to be happy when we get what we like. Or has always been supportive of me anyway.

So the size difference between S21 Ultra and Pixel 6 Pro is almost identical... Still I feel they should have a smaller pixel 6..

I completely agree it would have been nice if the 6 had been a much more noticeably smaller size. Lol it’s still a large phone. It’s like standing someone who is 6’2 next to someone who is 6’7 and calling them “shorty” to keep referring to the regular 6 as the smaller phone. Also I’m not personally thrilled to have the existing size difference also denote the whole pro vs non pro delineation.
But I suppose their current strategy is sound for this year. I hope it’s a fantastic and successful comeback for them into the flagship phone arena.
Haha for sure.. Small phone 6.2 screen... They should have done pixel 5 size with specs.. That be a winner for plenty of folks.... I'm still debating if I want a slab lol... I want this phone to hit it out the park...

I'm thinking the lighter colors will show less reflection.. But a case or skin will take care of it... With that camera bump I don't see using a skin though..
I expect it to claim the camera title again... anything less will be unacceptable haha

Lol I am checking out Pixel news while waiting for my 13 Pro.
It’s a bit of a bummer but I don’t really want to give up the non Pro. The more I check things out that’s where all the features and perks I want to test out are going to be. It would mean I should trade in the S21 Ultra I don’t really want to give up yet. So I would definitely have to wait and see the reviews, user impressions, etc.
But with me getting rid of the 12 Pro max and using smaller and even mini iPhones having the super gigantic Android in my lineup makes sense. It just doesn’t make sense having two of them.
The modem is going to have to be good. I don’t currently have my SIM card in my S21 Ultra, but I know when I put it in there, the connection is going to be good and clear. I’ve never yet had an Android phone perform poorly as a phone. With Apple it’s the opposite and they’ve been like tin cans on a string for me on AT&T where I live, until they got Qualcomm modems in them. And even then Apple must have bid cheap on something because the calls still don’t sound as crystal clear as on my Android phones. Even my now old Pixel 2 and really old HTC 10 often sound better. Before anyone jumps on me, I’m saying it’s just where I live and the routes I drive, with the carrier service I’ve got. I know other people get different results.

After using the 13 pro max for a few hours I hope the pixel has a comparable macro mode

Agreed. But there has been so many leaks about the specs and we already know what the freaking thing looks like they might as well just do a store refresh now and sell the damn thing already.
