I was watching that video and poking through settings on my 3 ( most all of them are on this device too) when I stumbled on that section. Super pumped!!

My Google home mini (that came free with my pixel 2) is now linked too! I had no idea Apple music was an option. Thing has been sitting since they dropped Google music in favor of that YouTube music garbage.

This is the first time I’m reading about being able to link a Pixel to Apple Music. So can we now effectively use Google Assistant to play both everything in our Apple library & existing playlists? I’ll have a look through the videos but that’s phenomenal!!

I’ve also got a Google Nest Mini too so will link up Apple Music to that too, I too am not a fan of YouTube Music.

My Pixel 6 Pro, Golden Glow case and USB-C 30W charger are all arriving soon in the next couple of hours via DPD (UK) to be delivered by ‘Orbin’. Today is a good day.

Moving data from iPhone and awaiting 50 mins.

The eagle has landed!

My Stormy Black Pro arrived from Google Store on exact delivery time from Orbin @ DPD. Good lad.

Plus separate package with charger & case.

I’m working in the London office today, will have to wait until this evening for the Google unboxing experience but it does feel like Christmas, again!

The Cloudy White does look an awesome colour, very Nexus 6P, I now need to check one out in-store!

So after cancelling my Pro order I'm now contemplating getting a regular 6. Honestly I don't know why I do this to myself!

There's a store close by to me which has the Seafoam colour in stock for pick up right away.

Has anyone installed a screen protector and not had issues with the finger print sensor? I've seen a lot of complaints to say the sensor doesn't work when a protector is applied.

I had the S21 Ultra and it would have problems a lot so much so I had to change to a pin password. Only app so far that is a problem is twitter, very laggy and choppy and annoying to look at so I switched to the mobil browser version and it works fine. Speakers on mine are super loud and screen is really bright, I find this screen easier on my eyes than my 13 pro is, not sure why. Tomorrow will be the first full day and we will see how the battery fares, though I will give it a week to settle.

I’m so happy you find the screen easier on your eyes than the 13 Pro. I know vision is very individual but it still gives me hope. My 13 Pro display gives me low grade headaches. I can function through them. But it’s not something I intend to live with.

Wait, what’s going on? They didn’t receive it yet but are threatening to cancel the order?

FedEx says my phone is supposed to arrive on time to me today but it’s been sitting at Bloomington California since October 26. My husband’s has been chilling in Illinois for the same amount of time. Weird.

TGIF :) Congrats on you new 6 Pro owners. Excited to hear your thoughts this weekend.

My 6 Pro is now in Texas. Geeze this is the slowest delivery ever, like did it move out of the dude's Uber car onto someone's bicycle delivery. Not supposed to arrive for another 5 days. And I ordered mine on launch day the 19th.

Case? What case? I don’t see a case! Seriously that shows off the phone perfectly. Beautiful!

I have a white one and a Stormy one on order for the Stormy grey one. I’m not sure the white will be a good look on a Stormy phone but I figured I can return or cancel it if it looks too weird.

When you guys say linking the phone to Apple music, what exactly are you doing? I have to Apple music app which I'm using but is there a different way I'm missing?

Your phone has had the weirdest journey we’ve heard about so far. It really sounds like it is ambling around an old Pony Express route. Ours are launch day phones, too I’m not sure what their actual situation is. I don’t see how my phone is considered “on time” for delivery today yet still is sitting an entire width of the country away.

Has anyone else noticed how slow the Pixel 6 is at video rendering?

I was editing a short video and it took forever to save once I'd finished.

Out of interest I sent the unedited file to my iPhone and it ripped through the job in seconds. So, I thought I'd try my son's phone for research purposes, he has a Samsung A52s with the Snapdragon 778g. To my surprise it edited the video in a blistering time too. I then tried the Pixel 6 again, same result, slow as anything.

Any ideas?

I used the same app on all 3 phones, inshot.

I think @Supersonicc is referring to linking Apple Music to Google Home.. that allows Apple Music to be used with Google Assistant. Well, at least… that’s what I do with Google Assistant. I have YT Premium to use with YT Music, but I prefer AM.

I have been using Google Assistant for Apple Music since tApple first introduced it for the platform via Google Home and kudos for Apple branching out… I’m waiting for Xbox Series S/X support (P5 came out this past week).

I don’t know either. Taken alone, it’s actually pretty. Unfortunately some people may associate it with their perceptions of white that has aged or discolored from smoke. I’m fond of vintage stuff and Bakelite products and it really reminds me of vintage radios and jewelry made of Bakelite. Which is why I originally was going to get that phone and that case. So with that association in mind, I love it. But I’m not sure what the overall response of people will be to this color combo.

Yeah completely agree. I love the feel of the case! But may exchange for the white frosty one.

Yeah I love the design. Even from renders I liked it. I do, however, feel it may be a bit too big for me... I'm really torn on the size still.
