Urgh. I hate skins. Especially Dbrand haha. They completely ruin the feel of a phone for me. I ordered one for my original Flip back when and the customer service was a joke. So never, EVER again haha.

Actually. Seems stock is plentiful for the reg 6 over here currently.
I'm gonna spend the weekend with the Pro, hope to get out on some dog walks and test the camera fully and what it's like to keep this device in a pocket whilst out and about.
Not as if the reg 6 is much smaller.

well they have had a lot more experience at it over the years to be honest. Then they had some growing pains over the years to get to where they are now. I just went through the process of ordering a test iPhone 13 PM and it is about a 30 day wait for shipping.
But you are right my 13PM ordered on on preorder day arrived on time.
I just don't Google is setup for the volume they are seeing for the Pixel 6
They made a phone that sold better than they ever thought it might?
I don't think time ever moves slower than when a phone is on the FedEx or UPS vehicle for delivery 😬
I think that is the case for Google with the Pixel 6 and Pro.
But I also think they just don't have infrastructure to support high volume of sales.
It takes a few years of growing pains for a company to ramp up and and evolve that kind of process and infrastructure.
I am not sure Google will do it though to be honest.
Has everyone that has their device gotten the alleged day one update? I'm on day 3 with my pro and it still isn't available. I'd like to get it for the bug fixes as I'm have really bad mobile network connection. FP sensor hasn't been great for me either. I'm using the unlocked pro on Verizon.

Shipping perhaps isn't Google's Fault. From what I remember Apple Doesn't use FedEX, at least in my area. Canon Professional services does, and I have had consistent issues shipping my cameras to and from that company with FedEx.
Where I do have a harder time excusing Google, is the poor website performance / response from one of the worlds largest website / content streaming companies on the planet. Hopefully they overboost and do website / CDN updates before 2022. To this day there are still some bugs on their site which is a bit of nonsense. I can get all the way to checkout with a Pixel 6 Pro, and at the last second it tells me my cart has been emptied due to lack of stock. I doubt they sold out in the 4 seconds it took for me to click through. But I could be wrong.
Am I going to rage quit over my negative opinion. No, it's just my opinion and I think / hope their phone is worth a bit of a wait.
my thoughts too...that was horrible on their part. A company of their size and expertise to have those kind of issues was bad timing and horrible PR!

You can choose to always show keyboard upon swiping up to the app drawer. This acts like Apple's swipe down to search.
Just swipe up and your keyboard overlays the drawer and lets you search for anything. An App, Pixel Tips, a Contact.

It is new to Android 12 I believe. My Pixel 3 has this activated currently.

My dad is on Verizon. They’re kind of possessive about their customer’s phones. But I still wish I could try them because I have to go stand out in the middle of my street to get 5G. And if I walk into the next neighborhood I have no signal at all on AT&T
check out Visible. it is their MVNO and uses E-Sim so you can test the VZW network, and know how it works for you. I did this for my 13 Pro to test their 5G network, and just decided to leave it on their plan.
It is prepay, but an easy way to sample the network before you do a full switch. Visible is 100% owned by Verizon too.
What I love most about almost all phone reviews these days is that it seems that NO ONE actually reviews what phones calls sound (quality) like. But who uses their phone as a phone anyway, amiright? lol
