Do battery stat apps use much battery? I always assume they're counterintuitive, using battery to find out what's using battery! It's nice to get stats from GSAM ..I forgot I had the Pro version and last night I ADB for the extra permissions![]()

This guy right hereWhat I love most about almost all phone reviews these days is that it seems that NO ONE actually reviews what phones calls sound (quality) like. But who uses their phone as a phone anyway, amiright? lol
I know, right. Very annoying.I wouldn't be surprised.. I got the do you want to install their apps on set up lol
..I'm like NO ...
I've never noticed a drain ..normally I don't use them bc I don't worry about battery life ...since this is a new phone and so many people asking and comparing on forums and my chats I wanted to let it run a week or so and gauge ...Do battery stat apps use much battery? Yeah - but I don't mean calling into google/apple customer service HAHAHAThis guy right here..I was on the phone over 3hrs easily yesterday ...and that is just the Android line..iPhone gets good amount as well ...
Oh I knew exactly what you meant. Most everyone starts talking about the camera at the beginning. They run over a couple of features. A few of the review guys will go into call quality but they leave everything out. Hey, I have a phone but I don't make phone calls out of it but I'm sure taking a lot of pictures and the sky sure is a lot more blue than I wanted to be. Which by the case is true with this phone right now lolYeah - but I don't mean calling into google/apple customer service HAHAHA
To be honest, I was really being snarky - because you never really hear reviews talk about call quality. I know when I first switched to the iPhone 3gs, I thought the call quality was subpar to what I had in other phones. It used to be talked about. They've gotten better - but like I said, I can't think of a review recently for any phone that talked about actually making calls
You nailed it. I took out my VZW sim and put an inactive TMO sim in and pulled the update immediately.I wonder if Verizon is delaying it? Both of you are on Verizon
One thing that will keep me on iPhone (for now) is the great audio quality of FaceTime Audio. I still cringe whenever I have to use a regular landline.Yeah - but I don't mean calling into google/apple customer service HAHAHA

I almost exclusively use airpods for phone calls. I'm too old to hear through the speaker walking around the city hahaOne thing that will keep me on iPhone (for now) is the great audio quality of FaceTime Audio. I still cringe whenever I have to use a regular landline.
I am hoping the Pixel 6 is better than my 3. Audio volume on the 3 is fine, clarity is decent, it just has a random crackle coming in the receiver. Doesn't matter if I am using T-Mobile or AT&T, both services have this on that phone.
I read that it may be an issue with the audio being over modulated in the receiver. It does get a little better when I turn down a couple clicks (I rarely run full volume), but it is still there.

Convenience wise the Airpods for iPhone...I don't use them with any other phones ..buds live (black case) best comfort in ear ..red and blue were my first Airpods I decided to have them specially ordered from Colorware so those I'm holding till they die which is probably soon since they don't hold a long charge .. I'm still testing buds 2 and Pixel buds those are new in ...when I travel it's over ear BeatsYour fave?
Yes, the beans are my favorite really. I can leave them on for a long time. They don't hurt my ears. The sound is pretty decent. Call quality anyway, sorry to hear about the AirPods. The second gen AirPods have been more trouble to me but I think it's software really. I get some disconnects sometime. Someone FaceTimes me and they won't connect even though they're in my ear. I do like that they go back and forth between my Mac and my iPhone when they work properly. I've been fortunate. I've never had any headaches with any of them. I'm sorry to hear you had issues@Bkdodger you have the beans! That's a nice collection. I have bad luck with Airpods. My first regular Airpods gave me a weird ache along my jaw and aggravated my tinnitus. Fortunately I was able to give them away to a family member.
My Airpods Pro are awesome but refuse to stay connected to any of my phones anymore. Not even my iPhones! It can take me 15 minutes or more just to get them to pair. The attempts will fail more often than not. Then they often randomly shut down. They've fallen out of my ears a few times so I probably broke something.
Wait, what’s going on? They didn’t receive it yet but are threatening to cancel the order?
FedEx says my phone is supposed to arrive on time to me today but it’s been sitting at Bloomington California since October 26. My husband’s has been chilling in Illinois for the same amount of time. Weird.
Those photos look wonderful. So far I’ve not seen any user-posted photos that give me any cause for concern or disappointment. I’m only more eager to receive mine now. Thank you for sharing them.First day of full charge off the charger at 6:30 am , have 2 hours 33 mins SOT thus far and at 67%, not to bad so far for the first day. I usually get about 5-6 hrs of SOT with my 13 pro with about 30-40% left by the end of the day so I will report back on how I do by tonight, then I will see over the next week how the Pixel compares as the battery settles in and it learns my useage habits.
I was visiting my mom in the hospital so I grabbed some quick and other wise not noteworthy photos other than I wanted to try some different harsher conditions to see how the camera did.
The pic of the windows I wanted to see how well it exposed for the darker inside of the building and the lighter outside the building and am impressed, even my good cameras do not do this well just pointing and shooting. The Micky Mouse was in a really dark corner of the hospital and it came out clear and crisp even when viewed on my computer. The shot of the front of the hospital I wanted to see how it did shooting into the sun, it was so bright I could not even see due to the sun. It has flare as is expected but I am still pretty impressed how it handled the bright Vegas sun.
thank you so much!!Those photos look wonderful. So far I’ve not seen any user-posted photos that give me any cause for concern or disappointment. I’m only more eager to receive mine now. Thank you for sharing them.
Best wishes and kind regards to your mother.
I did and did the same as you just moved my existing sim over and it works just fineFor anyone who got a Verizon Pixel 6 or 6 Pro, did it come with a Verizon SIM card preinstalled? My GF got a Verizon Sorta Sunny 6 Pro as she doesn’t care about having an unlocked bootloader and it came preinstalled with a Verizon SIM card. I just threw it away and moved the SIM over from her 12 Pro. It worked fine I’m just not used to new phones with SIM cards already preinstalled.
