Stop. Is it actually an hour and a half?! Hahah.
I don't even think I could talk about this phone for 90 mins.

I absolutely will not be watching .
It's a good laugh, especially how he describes certain things. I skipped along in parts.

He "starts" with about 40 minutes of all the things he hates about the phone but then spends the second half talking about how he loves the device.

He loved the speech recognition quality and accuracy and being able to just dictate messages without having to type.

His main hates are the finger print sensor and the curved screen. He absolutely trashes the finger print sensor.

All that said, it's now his main "work" phone.

I'm definitely not getting anything like what he is. I might as well turn off 120hz, I notice zero difference between having it on & off anyway.
Yea this screen is not near as fluid as most 120hz displays. I'm getting a lot of stuttering compared to my 13 PM, Z fold 3 and s21 ultra. So far that's really my only disappointment

I'm not experiencing any stuttering (except twitter which is quite bad), it's just I don't notice any difference. When some on here make 120hz out to be life changing.

Are you seeing the stuttering in apps or in the overall UI? Because it has me thinking Android 12 might be the culprit

I had my phone set to to 60 and I missed this post but now that I turned it on to 120 I see it lol. By the way, my Twitter is the same and instagram's little bit off. Otherwise all my other apps are running smoothly

Not sure what you mean by missing a post due to the screen refresh rate?

PXL_20211030_150101567.jpg

Initial observations. It's big, but essentially the same size as the Xs Max I have had for years, so not as big of a deal as I initially thought.

Pixel 3 and 6 together. Not super pumped on having a much larger phone, but will adapt.

IMG_1147.jpeg
It is millimetriclly taller, but also minutely narrower than the Xs Max. iPhone XS Max and Pixel 6. Nearly identical in size so I am sure I will be fine

IMG_1148.jpeg
6 is ever so slightly taller than the iPhone I have had for years.

IMG_1149.jpeg
6 is a touch narrower, you can sort of see the buttons and silver profile of the Xs Max sitting behind it.

Charging up the phone now after initial app installs. Looking to get the software update done next, then I am going to head out for a day of local tourism with this phone , Pixel 3, and the iPhone 13 Pro.

Chrome, Twitter, and photos mainly
Outside of Twitter it's been insanely smooth for me. Something is up with the Twitter app. Like I said in a previous post, it's almost like the display isn't scaling up to 120hz when scrolling on Twitter and instead stays at 60.

Still have my iPhone 12. I think my problem is I have an android fetish, I like the idea of android and practice it’s never as great as I think it will be. I need to learn to just stick with iPhone.
This is exactly me. I love trying Android but after using it for a week or so I don't feel like I am gaining anything but I do feel I am losing a lot leaving the iPhone. I really do not care about customizing my screen, icons and other stuff and beyond that for my usage everything feels the same because its app I use. I'm keeping my Pixel 6 Pro but have decided it will not be my daily driver. iOS my not be as exciting but its what I love and depend on. Plus it just works so damn good with my MacBook, iMac, iPad and Watch. I love things like Find My, iMessages and for me Siri is good enough for things I use an assistant for which is messaging, reminders, calendar, HomeKit control...etc. And the cameras are so close I can't decide which is better. Sometimes the Pixel takes the better shot and sometimes the iPhone does.

And speaking of Assistant how can I get Google Assistant to do things without me having to unlock my phone first. I have all the settings for lock screen turned on but the other day I asked Assistant to navigate to a store I had never been to and it wanted me to unlock the phone first. With my iPhone I have to unlock it but all I have to do is glance over and it while it sits in the windshield dock and it unlocks and does what I need.

You must be the lucky one because all these YouTube reviews have trashed the fingerprint scanner. I’ve had the phone since Thursday and the FP scanner has been terrible even with the update. I wish they could have at least given us the option to face unlock.
I registered them slowly and changed the angle of finger during set up ..two thumbs and pointer finger ...I've not had any issues but will test further once weather changes

it is the twitter app I think, I switched to Tweetcha2 because the stock twitter app was giving me a headache with it jankiness and Tweetcha works great. Also like I can customize it more than the stock one. Insta is slightly weird but not unuseable.

I've never heard of the app but thank you. I'm going to give it a try when I get a chance. I mean I use Twitter mainly for notifications especially on sneakers since I'm always buying and selling them and I will have to check out the new one. I like customization

Yeah it doesn't feel as smooth

That said my s21 ultra 120hz is smoother than my 13 Pro max

Finger print scanner seems fine for me as well. Let’s me in first time for the most part. I registered both thumbs nice and slowly changing direction each time.

Running the day one update and no screen protector.

Ty for comparison shots! So it looks like the viewing area for movies/vids is pretty much just as big as on the 11 Pro Max?
