Picked up my Pixel 7 Pro - Obsidian at Best Buy ( that was a cluster F. their system was screwed up on pre-orders and trade-ins, taking extra long, and employees not knowing how to fix it )
Anyways was really thinking of switching to the Hazel color, but they didn't have that color on display, and were of zero help to check stock if I could see one. So I stuck with the black I ordered, and actually very happy with it. Have had White Pixel's going back to the Nexus 6P, and wanted to go dark mode again, and was tired of the shiny glossy mirror looking frame, and now I am happy I went with the Obsidian, and looking forward to my Dbrand matte black skin.
Setup the phone pretty quick, first impressions;
- Curved edge display is noticeably less curved, and feels closer to flat, but I wish it was FLAT like the iPhone's , but the 7 Pro is better than the 6 Pro's curve. I like the 7 Pro's less rounded screen.
- Screen does seem brighter outdoors, I could tell right away
- The feel in hand just feels a bit nicer if that makes any sense.
- Anything else I need more time to see, but it feels smooth and fast and slick to operate, but so did my 6 Pro lately.

Just picked up the 7 pro from BB ( traded in my POS 6 ) .. The receipt / trade in print out only stated the original ( not the promotional trade in value ) trade in value of $230 ( should be $480 for the 6 )
The rep showed me her computer screen showing the $480 ($230 original + $250 promotional value ) but didnt know why the recipient wouldn't print as such! The manager assured me I'd be reimbursed the full $480.
Obviously knowing BB and their competency, I insisted and took a pic of their computer's display showing the full trade in value of $480!

I had the exact same thing happen as you and @Tig Bitties What did they tell you all about the e gift card? They couldn’t give me a receipt showing it, but said I should get it via email in a few hours. Nothing received yet on my end.
Hey guys a little bit on the Best Buy orders so if you log into the Best Buy app or website into your account , you will see the e-gift card there for you to use it online or in store if you haven’t received the email yet.. also the promotional extra $250 was taken off the top of the price of the phone so in my case the phone was 650 and then you get the regular trade in added after it to make up the whole total of promotion..
Don't forget to change the settings on the lock screen if you're using face unlocked to go right to your last app or the home screen instead of having to swipe from the lock screen..

Nice! I see the discounted price, but do not see the e gift card? Where would I see it?
Man I'm not real happy with the fingerprint sensor. It sucks compared to the 4a.

I think you have to get used to it.. I never had an issue with the P6P, although others hated it. It's supposed to be improved on this one. I find it quick as the last one though I did find it easier to set up initially from the previous phone.. also, make sure when you set up you use different angles of the finger you register plus register other fingerprints.. it definitely won't be as good as the back. FPS on the older phones..

Maybe that's the delay.. I saw it on my app before I got the email but I do have an email from them as well .. also, I went early so it's possible they might have a little bit of a log jam later on in the day ..
Can't get used to it when it NEVER recognizes my thumbprint. I got locked out of my bank app and had to call them.
I've set 2 thumbprints on the phone.

Ah man sucks ...how did you find the initial set up ? You registered both thumbs or the same thumb twice ?
Just did both thumbs and a finger. Deleted my first thumb attempt from yesterday and it worked.
