The more I use this 7 Pro it feels more like my old flat Pixel 6.

The lesser and softer curved edge kinda of makes it feel more flat or like those older Android phones that have "flat" screens but we're what they called 2.5 edge or something.

Took an hour, but they said they would send a physical gift card in two weeks, or I could go to the store and see if they can fix. I chose the physical gift card. Glad they took care of it.
Very good. I'm happy you got it resolved. I would have done the same thing. Less hassle and you'll have a gift card right about the time you can go shopping for some deals..

Do you know what's the app version number on the 6A? I'm looking for it at APK mirror
Looks like they are both actually the same. This version was released Oct 4th. Maybe just UI bug

Awesome! Looking forward to your thoughts and review after using it daily..
First impressions.

Screen size is noticeable smaller and that’s the only issue I have with it. I like Google’s implementation of WearOS compared to Samsung Watch OneUI 4.5.

From how the notifications are displayed, app launcher looks better, like how quick toggles look and the settings look much better… just an all around great experience. And this is coming from my early impression of it. But I can already see the writing on the wall with the screen size which unfortunately will be the reason I won’t keep it.

I think Google should have done two sizes… this one could be considered the smaller version and a 45mm or higher on the bigger version.

Traded in my 6 Pro for an Obsidian 7 Pro (sexy). The higher screen brightness on the 7 Pro is worth it alone. What a difference! The fingerprint reader is great, and I'm enjoying the phone overall. Buttery smooth with a clean, minimal UI. I wish I could use it as my daily driver. :(

Thanks for sharing.. that is the reason I didn’t consider it …I just need a bigger watch size … good to hear on the other stuff and I’m curious how that battery also it’s going to last

BestBuy has somehow managed to screw up my watch preorder. Was supposed to be delivered today, but no one seems to know why it didn't ship - has been stuck on "waiting for UPS to pickup" for 2 days. Hopefully some movement soon.

Anyone else having issues connecting to Airpods Pro 2? Will play for a second, up to few minutes and gargle out. Happens with my Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 6a. Airpods Pro 1 are fine on both.

Other devices I tried with Airpods Pro 2 that work perfectly fine.

iPhone 4s (iOS 5.1, yes I tried it!)
Windows 11 gaming PC
Nexus 5 (Classic phone)
Macbook Pro 16" 2021
Motorola G7 Power

Edit: Found the fix. You need to disable "Disable A2DP offload" in developer settings to use Airpods Pro 2.

The scrolling on my P7P is annoying me so bad. It feels janky.
I noticed that yesterday when I was downloading the system update and updating my Apps in the Play Store. There were like 42 Apps that needed updating and when I scrolled up or down real fast it kind of had a hiccup. I had it set to QHD+ and 120Hz. I don’t know if it was the Tensor G2 throttling from everything going on but it appears to have gone away as the Apps were updated.

Is this what you mean? Scroll to 2 mins in this video

That's exactly what happened to me when scrolling in the App updates list. The problem doesn't seem to appear now. I was scrolling in Chrome while in the Discover page and it was very smooth, no janks.
