I can't complain about battery life on the 7 Pro. The phone has been idling the last 14 hrs and I have lost only 4%. I would typically lose 14% on my Pixel 6 in the same time frame.
You can't go wrong with that combination my friend... I think you're going to be really happy with it..I ended up returning my Pixel 7 Pro and reordered the Fold4 and Watch5. It is something about the Fold4 that had me in awe. I've tried all the major Android flagships, but that Fold4...was amazing.
My phone set up for the next year:
iPhone 14 Pro Max
Apple Watch SS S7
Samsung Galaxy Fold4
Galaxy Watch5
Mine only shows the current temp and conditions icon. Did you need to do anything special to get the other information?Such a nice touch to the weather!
No, I did not. It appears to only show in the mornings (it's 7am here).Mine only shows the current temp and conditions icon. Did you need to do anything special to get the other information?

Ah, that probably explains it then. Good to know, thanks. No, I did not. It appears to only show in the mornings (it's 7am here).
Curious about the case. Is it flimsy? Does it have any stiffness to it at all? Was thinking about getting one of those but didn't look like it was very well made looking at pics from past cases. Finally got around to setting up my Snow 7 Pro. Installed my Omoton film screen protector flawlessly. I gave up on messing with glass protectors on curved screens. The only one that I have ever got to work is the Whitestone Dome $50 one. Film isn’t perfect buts is nicer than films from back in the day.
Also, got my Chalk colored case from Google using some of my $200 credit. Really nice color and looks just like, well, chalk. We will see how it holds up to wear but nice feel.
Phone is super fast and lovely screen. Scrolling does have some jank to it in certain apps like Twitter and Reddit. Turning off smooth motion did make it go faster but it wasn’t that smooth. I’m sticking with the highest resolution and leaving smooth motion on. I’ll be keeping this phone due to the high trade in value of my Pixel 6 and $200 Google credit so I’ll hope for some software fixes to improve the scrolling.
I also have some Buds Pro in the Fog color on order using the rest of my credit (and some cash). Can’t wait to try them out. It will be hard to compete with AirPods Pro 2 as those are quite amazing in noise cancelation and fit.

Some snaps for today. Not taken as many as I'd like - there were prime opportunies at the tennis club this morning but bloody kids everywhere. Didn't wanna be snapping photos with children in the frame .
Some I did get!

In Cheshire.Nice pics! Where were they taken? I see canals and think of Birmingham
It has similar stiffness to the Apple silicon cases. It's just plastic but definitely isn't too bendy. Lower quality than apple but also much cheaper.Curious about the case. Is it flimsy? I did, I've posted many things about it in here and pics.Did anyone opt for the regular 7?! Any impressions?
Be good to know if the smaller Pixel has seen issues ironed out like the larger one. I'm talking broadly here by the way, I know there are still issues out there.
Oh thought you had the Pro. My mistake.I did, I've posted many things about it in here and pics.
Nope lol. I never get the biggest screen phones. I like to try and stay under 6.5". The P7 is only a little bigger than my 4a. And I don't want any curve on my screen.Oh thought you had the Pro. My mistake.
Any price difference from the first time you ordered or did you get a better deal this time around?I ended up returning my Pixel 7 Pro and reordered the Fold4 and Watch5. It is something about the Fold4 that had me in awe. I've tried all the major Android flagships, but that Fold4...was amazing.
Did you turn adaptive battery off? That can have an effect on some notifications being received.issue with other email clients, they don't split Primary, Promotions and Social like Gmail app does, id be constantly getting emails if they all came into one "inbox" so I'm inclined to stick with Gmail app.
not knocking the Pixel so please do not get offended, just knocking android in general, doze doing its thing
