Wait, Best Buy dropped their offer to $230 for trade of my Pixel 6, but Google is $490!!?? I think I may take the swallow plunge and go for the 7.

One quick question. How do the speakers sound on the 7 versus the 6? Compared to the 3, the Pixel 6 speakers are terrible. Poor volume, and poor audio quality. I like to casually watch videos on my phone screen while cooking or doing other lite tasks. I usually just use my iPhone for these now, but would love the android freedom in this regard.

So my trade in was supposed to be there in Ka Vernge,TN on the 22nd.
Since that day it has said in transit, arriving late and it's been in Nashville during that period......20 Mile's away. Not delivered. Anyone else have that going on?

Comment from the thread:

The way this works is that they pick them up in bulk before they reach the final destination so you will not see the tracking as delivered. Most will see it stuck in Nashville. However usually you will receive an email in a few days saying that the phone has been received. So no need to panic!

I know I'm in a different country (UK) but I sent my 6 Pro off last Tuesday and my 6 off last Thursday and neither have seemingly been received.
Starting to get verrrry concerned.

Despite the lack of response to my question, I found my answer in a different forum and decided to take the plunge.

Going to run both phones for a day to do photo tests before I send the 6 back to Google. Amazing what trade offer Google is giving. Makes the Apple offer for the 13 Pro look quite poor.

Not sure if you are in the US. But with iPhone dominate marketshare in the US... Apple doesn't have to necessarily go the route of Google and Samsung with crazy trade in offers.

All of Apples, sales and offers are poor. Just another reason why I don't buy their stuff.

I dealt with this about a year ago and thought it was insane the hoops I had to go through just to return a case.
Yep. They actually called out a tiny mark on the case the size of a couple grains of sand. The mark was there when I got it and is almost invisible. I had to explain the over a few emails before they approved an RMA.

Fyi - returns to bellroy not a pleasant experience. Have to cover return shipping and before they approved for RMA I had to send a ton of pics proving the case AND box for the case were in perfect unused condition.
I'm happy I'm not looking to return my case... I'm actually okay with the case.. did you just not like the color or the feel in hand?

How’s everyone experience been so far? I’m especially curious how the signal, battery, and FP sensor have been compared to the 6?

Right now Google is offering the Pixel 7 Pro in a straight swap (almost) for the 13 Pro Max. I was interested in this phone at first, but the reviews seems shockingly positive so far. Figures the one Pixel I haven’t bought turns out to be the first relatively smooth one.

I really like mine. The "feel" hasn't changed since I got it but I wouldn't have really expected it to. Colour still looks great.
And, I have been using the case since i slapped it on at the weekend. I thought I'd take it off for non-office days but nope, kept it on!

So far, pleased with it. Think it's good value.

Yeah I really like mine. I've been using it since I got it and I'm going to give it a good run.. I'm waiting for a few skins for the camera and we'll see if I go with it and the skins combination..

I definitely think it's a smoother phone than the P6P that I was using as you might know. Or remember I never had an issue with that phone at all but I feel like this one is even better. The FPS is quicker and I like the face unlock when using it around the house. I don't even have to worry about placing my finger on the phone. Just lift it up and I'm right into the home screen or the last app that I'm using.. traveling around New York City has been the same as my other phones. No drops, excellent and call quality has been good.. My only gripe is a minor one and that is the AOD which sometimes decides on its own. It doesn't want to work the way it should but I've seen this issue with the prior phone..

Sending the pixel back. It’s WiFi won’t stay connected to my house WiFi. When I try to reconnect it won’t. I have to force my WiFi to 2.4ghz for it to work and then it will eventually drop. No other device has this issue. Thankfully it showed itself before I shipped off my s22 ultra which is staying. I liked the phone otherwise. Was very snappy.

The iPhone 13 PM and Pixel 7 Pro are on equal terms. It boils down to whether you prefer iOS or Android. The 7 Pro is a seriously good phone. Pretty much everything about it is solid. The only negative about the 7P is that the iPhone will always fetch more in a trade because of the brand.
