Pixel 7 / Pixel 7 Pro

It looks better in person ..I had a nice honeycomb one but I stretched it by accident removing and trying to place it correctly with my bad eyes

My joy was shortlived with the 7P. It started dropping calls (only outgoing afaik) within 1 sec of the other party answering the call. But not every call, And i couldn´t corrolate the timing to anything specific. To resolve it when it did happen i had to toggle airplane mode. Well google blames the carrier and carrier blamed google. Others in a local forum over here are complaining of issues with incoming and/or outgoing calls. Obviously not affecting everyone so who knows where the issue is.

But this whole game of blaming each other is a bit hilarious imo since the carrier in question seemingly has exclusive rights to sell the Pixels for a unspecified amount of time so i would assume there would be some level of extra care taken to insure a smooth entry since this is the first time Google offers Pixel phones here.

Maybe i´ll revisit the device later on if i see enough feedback from others over here that the issue has been resolved because i really enjoyed the overall experience that the 7P offered me.

Well so far this trade in with Google has not been a great experience. Sent my phone's in weeks ago and have heard nothing since.

When I click into my Orders section on the store, it does show the trade in being received into Google via the tracking, but the order status shows "waiting to receive your old phone". And then when you click 'track' it shows it is delivered 🫢.

Both my trade ins show the same thing. Thankfully, it's not just me as my friend also upgraded his S10(!) to a 7 Pro and his is the same.
I think Google may have quite a few trade in devices to check and probably are not set up for it.
With the sweet deal of the free watch plus decent trade in values they likely got a bit bombarded.

I just hope they honour the price but I did video my phone being placed into the box / bag so that's something.

I’m waiting for them to accept the returned 7p still as well. They maybe slow at returns/trade ins.

I'm thinking it's going to be okay ...there are so many people with the same pending for them to check trade-in...I think with all the good values they gave this year on trade-in they are overwhelmed which is not a good thing ...

I had the same thing. Friday i got a email saying they received my trade in and they have inspected it. It met trade in standards and will receive my $300 by the method I used to buy the phone in 2 to 5 business days.

So any day now I should see that.

Tracking status still says delayed and isn't showing recieved but it's a done deal.

I saw an article that said a bunch of people had their trade-ins removed from their order after they checked out. After never getting a trade-in box, they contacted Google and Googles response was return your phone and buy it again with trade-in checked this time.

Typical Google screw up and acting like the customer is wrong. Still, at least they offered decent trade ins this year. I still have my P7 Pro with 13 PM trade sitting in the cart. Havent pulled the trigger yet but considering it. I moved to Apple because last year I was just tired of underwhelming Android offerings. Bored of S-series, Fold wasnt quite there, and Pixel 6 was a disaster (modem, FP scanner, updates, battery). After a year on iOS, I can appreciate a lot of what Apple offers but its just boring and notifications are still a disaster. But I understand now why people with Apple Watches have trouble leaving. Its a combination of the Apple Watch being excellent and the Android offerings being crap. The Watch 5 Pro looks decent but the Pixel Watch is a typical first-gen Google device with hardware corners being cut everywhere.

Anyone rocking a P7P and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro combo? Any Watch features lost I should know about besides EKG?

My return box is still on the way to my home from USPS. I haven't even started down this path. Thankfully my Pixel 6 is essentially flawless. It was a primary phone for only 4 months or so, then was mostly used around the house. When we switched owners (my company) they had little / no support for Android so I had to go iOS as primary.

This has been fixed, now just working to get my stuff working correctly on the 7 before it goes primary.

Thankfully my return still shows up on my order, and I have a tracking number for the return kit as well. Hoping all goes well, perhaps being a bit late in ordering my phone caused them to fix some of the order time issues.

Definitely had issues in ordering my Pixel, 2, 3 and 6 on launch day!
