I have the exact issue as you @Aneres11 .

They've had my old phone since the 26th October but still says awaiting on their page. I queried this in chat with Google a few days ago and they confirmed they have it in their warehouse.

I'm guessing they're just bombarded with phones to check, but they really need to make the website a bit clearer. Hopefully they honour the value of these phones that they've got in backlog.

It could work in our favour. Won't be a good look if Google keep them this long and then say there are issues upon inspection!
Although one of mine (6) was submitted with a cracked screen which I declared. Worked perfectly other than that so don't have concerns for that one.

The 6 Pro just recently had it's screen replaced under warranty so again, no real concerns. Just wish they'd get a move on 😋.

I saw an article that said a bunch of people had their trade-ins removed from their order after they checked out. After never getting a trade-in box, they contacted Google and Googles response was return your phone and buy it again with trade-in checked this time.

Typical Google screw up and acting like the customer is wrong. Still, at least they offered decent trade ins this year. I still have my P7 Pro with 13 PM trade sitting in the cart. Havent pulled the trigger yet but considering it. I moved to Apple because last year I was just tired of underwhelming Android offerings. Bored of S-series, Fold wasnt quite there, and Pixel 6 was a disaster (modem, FP scanner, updates, battery). After a year on iOS, I can appreciate a lot of what Apple offers but its just boring and notifications are still a disaster. But I understand now why people with Apple Watches have trouble leaving. Its a combination of the Apple Watch being excellent and the Android offerings being crap. The Watch 5 Pro looks decent but the Pixel Watch is a typical first-gen Google device with hardware corners being cut everywhere.

Anyone rocking a P7P and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro combo? Any Watch features lost I should know about besides EKG?
I have been on an iPhone 13 almost a year and ordered a P7P that should be here in a few days. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm like you, I will miss my Apple Watch. However, I'm looking forward to get back onto Android.

I'm interested in the Galaxy Watch 5 as well. I honestly couldn't care less about EKG (I have to have 1 every year for my job, so I don't need it on my wrist). I've had a Galaxy Active 2 in the past when I had my Note 10, but I wasn't real crazy about it. I assume with the 5 things have improved, but I know there are some features that are probably locked to a Samsung phone. I may just bite the bullet with a Pixel Watch, but we'll see.

Yeah I refuse to get a Pixel Watch. Everything about it screams first gen and corner cutting. It has giant bezels that Google try to hide with software. Its using a 5 year old processor. It has battery life that will barely get through a day (while the battery is new). And worst of all, Google is trying to charge for Fitbit functionality that other watches have has basic features. Oh and Google thinks you should pay premium pricing for all this. No thanks.

I will say, it seems like it will collect smudges, fingerprints, etc on the back. That's a deal breaker for some, others don't care.

Something about the way this case feels on the phone is so incredibly solid.

I was considering the black for mine, reckon it'd look good with the gold camera bar.
That would be stunning actually, but the side buttons do match the stainless finish of each phone color so you'd have Obsidian colored buttons.

Is that not just black chrome ? I think it could work... But I think i'll hold out for stock of the Hazel!

Went to BB. Think I am going to order the watch. I really liked the interface and the look.
The watch is great. I personally wouldn't have bought one stand alone, but as a freebie I'm really pleased with it.
Haptics are nice, having Google Assistant on your wrist is very handy, and it pairs nicely with the phone as you'd expect.
The battery is its weakness, but it charges really fast.
People like to cry about the bezels (those who don't have the watch mainly) but in reality they're a total non-issue.

I agree, watch is great. My only issue was the size of it… perhaps that could be the reason why the battery isn’t good on it. But MKBHD brought up the issue it fetches heart rate too often which might have an impact on the battery.

I believe Google should have had two sizes… the one presently out and a large one around 45mm+, I would have kept the larger one. UI was solid on it… like how the notification is implemented, but unfortunately…. I had to return it due to its size.

Interesting. I have realllly small wrists so it's the absolute perfect size for me. But I imagine it could look dainty on other people.

That's the benefit of a round watch I guess. It sits on a wrist better.

Forgive me but I'm about to compare Apples to Oranges here - I really don't think the polling of the heart rate is a factor on the battery, or at least not anything close to a significant one. My Garmin Epix 2 has a 300mAh battery (294 mAh in the Pixel Watch), pulls a heart reading every second, and has literal days of battery life; It's not doing the same smartwatch functions that a Pixel Watch, or even an Apple Watch is doing though.

Obviously polling the heart less would help but I thinks there's a myriad of other factors going on that worsens the life of a Pixel Watch or even an Apple Watch. All of that said, my wife is getting like two or two and a half days of battery life on her Pixel Watch, and that includes tracking workouts. She tracked an hour-long gym workout on Saturday and only lost 6% battery.

My regular 6 has been reviewed and they have given me £8 more for it 😋. Lovely.
Just the 6 Pro to be reviewed next!

In other news, I bought a very cheap watch band off Amazon for my Pixel Watch. Just a silicone one in orange to see what it would be like Vs the official Google one. Well, it won't stay on... It keeps coming out from the lock mechanism. So say no more 😂.
