Ah nothing like a little GREED to hide behind the inflation narrative as an excuse!

I LOVE this country!
I agree because it shouldn’t cost them anything for a physical SIM swap. I use Mint Mobile and they don’t charge for swapping a SIM card from one phone to another.

heck Verizon will even mail a new physical sim card to customers....no charge. So they better not charge for an ESIM activation that is done through system automation.

I am pretty sure TMO does the same thing

My trade in still hasn't been assessed. I have been on chat to Google Support on Tuesday. They've taken it away to look into and I still haven't heard anything 😅. I didn't expect support to be able to tell me anything, but my trade in device was received on the 22/10 and they still haven't looked at it? Odd.

In other news, my Google store credit (cash back) has finally been approved. I am eyeing up the Pixelbook Go, or deciding whether to wait for the Tablet next year.

In even more news, no further issues to speak of with my watch or 7 Pro. Watch is charging and draining normally and no freezes with my phone. 👍🏻

As much as I like my Pro, I'm seriously considering "downgrading" to the regular 7.

Having come from the smaller iPhone 13 Pro, the size is starting to grate on me a little and something a bit more pocket friendly may be on the horizon.

Same thing I've been debating. I think it's unlikely it will, but wish we had confirmation if that tablet will have any sort of keyboard accessory option.

I really like my 7. I guess it depends if you use the 5x and macro.

If the regular 7 had a telephoto it wouldn't be a question for me. Flat display, slightly smaller, even 90hz is still good.
I loved the smaller 6 so know I'd like the reg 7 too.

I'd love to see the same specs on both phones but I get it with Google ..from my eyes comparing P6 to P7 I think the new one is a better quality screen from the small time I played with it ... definitely like the feel in hand ...

Little zoom test. I cannot believe you can get this kind of result from a 5x telephoto.

1x, 5x, 10x and the max 30x.

Pixel Fold looks great, but $1700 for 1st gen Google hardware, with their notoriously awful support if it were to break, and with little to no discounts offered is a hefty ask.

I think the bigger benefit here will be the software tweaks that Google builds into android to support it. They should make their way over to the Galaxy Fold series and tablets as well and hopefully android app devs join in.

How are fingerprints?
This is my 3rd or 4th latercase over the last couple of years and I've never had any issues with fingerprints on it. The carbon fiber hides them well. I actually end up using the Latercase way longer than any other case every time I buy one, they're just never immediately available at launch.
