^ lol how awful is that? i would just talk about all that stuff.. who cares.. its just a job

I'm two years out of college and I own my own home, Nissan GTR, Jetta TDI, and have been all around the world. That job pays for all of those things so if your wanna give me the money to pay those things off I will gladly tell you everything I know.

How did you land that kind of job right out of college?? That is AWESOME, I'm so envious.

well i've been all around the world (im 20) i own 4 cars (no own house) and don't have a master or so.. just a GED..

what i'm sayin is that most companys and employees are just taking things too far.. like ooh i can't talk about my job im getting fired and ****.. damn nobody knows your real name and **** so who would try to mess with your job..

and if i would work for a company who prohibits me to talk about what i do i would say " **** you im going to another company... "

I can tell you what I do, I'm a software engineer for Apple in Cupertino, CA. I can't tell you what I'm working on. Also, you might not want to work for a company that lets you talk about your job thats fine with me but I decided to sign an NDA when I went to work for the first time. But you did say that you have a GED so I doubt your going to get a job doing something important enough that your employer won't let you talk about.

The building is designed so no office is on the ground level... so nothing gets damaged during a flood. The arrow is pointing to my window. I get a nice view of the parking lot! :(

Sorry that did make me laugh!

I work at different sites everyday and never go into the office.. so I have no pictures :(

No worries. I'm just glad I have an office and not a cubicle. :p

Different sites working outside or inside?

Wow so many people work in awesome office buildings. If anyone can hook a college student up in Los Angeles, please let me know! :D

In my last job, I worked in a cubicle in this building. So if you have ever been to Quebec City, Quebec (Canada), there are good chances that you have either been in this building, or passed by this building. Kind of hard not to. Plus that building has THE best view of the city!

oh ive been by that building loads of times...been in the basement garage as well i think. been to quebec city 3 times thus far, it's a nice town

Here's me this summer. My office is the whole of the South-Eastern section of Britain. I am shown here with my trusty steed B32, a Ford Focus estate Diesel, loaded to the gunnels with evidence gathering gear, torches, fatality/first aid packs and other assorted toys for cops.

It's an up and down type of career, but you know what - I kind of like it.....and I am pretty good at it too.:)

I never understood the attraction of being in the police. How is taking freedom away from people, sometimes inocent people, or someone who is smoking a harmless joint on the field one summers day not killing or hurting anyone. I just don't understand the attraction to the job?
Is it the extra power you get?

(No offense intended - general polite wondering)

I work here:
