That is just fantastic...

How much do you pay monthly for this connection?

I pay 10 usd but that is only because I get it as a part of my studies.
If the everyman in Denmark would have it. It would be around 100$ a month.
I do hope that this type of connection gets cheaper by the time im done with my studies.

I live in Denmark.

Why are the speeds so much faster in certain parts of europe and asia than they are here in the States?

Don't understand, when some of us pay a insane amount to get the fastest connection possible.

This is the second best service optimum online offers for me. I would gladly get the best one they offer (optimum ultra) which is advertised as 100/15 connection, but it's like a 300 activation fee, 35 dollar install fee and another 70 dollars a month of what were already paying. So i'll stick with this one for now, which is great for what I use a computer for.

I think it's because the government has invested in internet infrastructures. Here in Canada, the government didn't, and as a result, some cable companies are proud to label their 1 megabit internet "high speed"

Melbourne CBD, MyTelecom. OK speed I guess (for Australia). A bit sad that this sort of speed is graded an 'A' and faster than 93% of AU.
