Alessandro MS-Pro. Love'm, they have no sound of their own and play everything well. The few headphones I've heard that were better also cost a lot more.

Headphones are always going to be second to loudspeakers in my view. Chamber music or jazz just aren't the same without a believable soundstage.

For Great/unbelievable soundstage, you should try the Sennheiser HD 598. They are awesome and might change your stance on the speakers vs. headphones issue.

I know the HD598. They are a reasonable mid-range set, nothing special but very comfortable. Like (almost) all other headphones they have no soundstage (width x depth).

Quality choice in BT Wireless headphones ...I've been eyeing these lately but may choose the H7's (H6's are wired only, btw) due to the price.

I chose the H7 due to the fact that they are closer in sound to the H6 more balanced not as boomy as the H8 plus the NC on the H8 is kinda dodgy I've heard.

New this month for me will be the V-MODA Crossfade Wireless, ordered them with the XL pads and the 3 button remote. I will be visiting the US for a couple of weeks in the middle of Feb. It'll be nice to give them a good test.

Sennheiser Urbanite XL's. They sound incredibly detailed, and I love them!!

Um, not for nothing, not for insult in any way ... long day, need my glasses eyes strained but for some reason you have a striking resemblance from your grin to Skrillex with all black attire and hat, had to do a double take whilst speed scrolling.

BTW, he loves his music and music in general and although an odd ball he's really gets music beyond most in the recording and production industry.

Great gift from a great son.

Beoplay H3's next week, Beoplay H7's next month along with 13" RMBP.

I had to Google Skrillex. Like most of the rest of the world, he seems to have a lot more hair than I do. ;) Best gift my son has ever gotten me!

Have to say I love the V-MODA Crossfade Wireless. Prefer the sound over the Mater & Dynamic MH40s and the Sennheiser Momentum wireless. Which I'm probably going to sell. They sound just as well in wireless mode as they do in wired.

If there was a store around me where I could have tried the V-MODA Wireless, I would have but I would not just buy expensive headphones without being able to feel how they fit, and how they sound. I like the Beats Studio Wireless I have...I know a lot of people do not like Beats but the Studio's are a big step-up from the Solo's, in my humble opinion.

One of the best things to do with any wireless headphones is to link them to the new Apple TV and listen/watch whatever you want as loud as you want and not bother your neighbors!

I'm being honest and I do like the Beats Studio's Wireless, I owned a pair for a few months. For the music I listen to they sounded good. I agree they aren't for everyone.

The Crossfade Wireless are cheaper, better build quality and the option to use them wired without a battery without a massive loss in sound quality, they've won me over.

Bought the XL memory cushions which help with comfort for the longer journeys. Wish the damn things were slightly easy to change though. Looks easy in the videos, but I had a few issues getting the pads aligned and had to push quite hard to get them snap into place.

I use the Sol Republic Tracks HD V10. AKA, the poor man's Beats. They're bass-heavy, but sometimes I enjoy that. They block out external noise rather well, but are a little tight around the ears for someone who wears glasses.

Bough Bose Soundtrue II today. Easily the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. Finally the search for good headphones is over for me.
