As of now, I use the Bose In Ear Headphones
triport-in-ear-headphones.jpg

Since the ear tips of them keep falling off for some reason, I'm looking at the monster turbine and v-moda vibe duo.

Any suggestions on which ones better and more rich?

Emm just stay away from Bose... i had those in-ears and gave them away... had the QC2s and sold them... Search for some Klipsch (S4s), Monster (Turbines) or Shure's... please, don't get caught on Bose's "lifelike sound" scheme.

Samesies!

They're great but I tend to yell with them in, even with no music, because they fit so well....

You also gotta make sure you don't get hit by cars when walking around the city. This is key.

Does anyone know of any good headphones for the NEW iPod Shuffle?

I'm currently using the Apple ear buds that came with it. Keep in mind that it needs a clicker controller of course with this model.

I'm also curious if there is a controller for connecting to my current Bose In-Ear headphones listed above.

In your case, I'd buy the Apple's in-ear phones or a nice model of Sony's in-ear phones. You can see them at apple.com and sonystyle.com;)

They're not "the best sound ever". I'm aware of it, thats why I went Klipsch Custom-3 way instead of them, however, they're far cheaper and from what I understand pretty darn good for the dough. And, in all fields, better than Bose.

The "best sound ever" comment was in regard to Monster's advertising campaign. As bad as the Bose in-ears are, the Monster's were not a whole lot better.

Really? I read tons of positive reviews, thought they were quite good... And I'm sorry, I thought they where somewhere round the $80-100 ish price range, just saw the retail price and its be way too high considering Monster's reputation (in quality not price) . And... are they as bad as the Bose IE? 'cause if they are, shame on Monster, Bose must be really easy tu surpass for any decent audio company ejejj :p

The Bose in-ear's sound is lackluster, my main problem was that they were uncomfortable. The Turbines were fine for like 30 minutes, but then you just got into risking sharp pain in your ears and the sound was not that great...

I had the Bose IE, they were really bad sounding. Really over-tuned bass response, completely muddy and 'slow'. Mid-range was very subdued, not at all present as it's supposed to be, it lacked emotion and was 'boxy' as hell. HF's were so-so, with most of the nice details gone or really tiny. Almost null soundstage was a bummer too... I've learnt the hard way, Bose is a no no for any person looking for good audio; they stand for Buy Other Sound Equipment.

just ordered these babys

Can I ask what you intend on using them for?
I bought a pair and loved the comfort and the sound but the cable was 3m long. Also the jack was a 6.3mm jack, once this was plugged into the converter to make it 3.5mm it had turned into a 3" piece of rigid plastic on the end! And all of that was sticking out of my Nano! Its a shame they were so nice but I had to return them to the store.

I was really wandering if somebody had a fix for this because I would love to re-buy them but with a 1m cable and 3.5mm jack.

I was mostly going to use them for my desktop, and maybe a little for my iPod Touch. I know what you mean, I was seeing photos for with the adapter so long. That made them questionable for me purchasing them, but if it was so bad, i could just use my Bose IE's.
