I love my TiVo HD.

Mine will probably be on the auction block soon though. We're getting AT&T U-Verse and you can't use a TiVo with their service, but their own DVR.

I'll miss it, but anything has got to be an improvement over Charter, who we have been stuck with for, well, forever basically seeing as how DSL was never available at our house. I'll miss my TiVo, but taking my CableCARDs and all of their other ****** equipment up to their local office to drop it off and cancel will be one of the happiest days of my life.

Not sure. I'm not even getting U-Verse for another month since thats when they could come out and install it, and I'll probably hold onto it for a little bit just in case something with U-Verse goes terribly wrong. If I decide to sell it, I'll post a thread in the marketplace

My last purchase were tickets to see Quantum of Solace.

Casino Royale was a lot better. I give Quantum a 2.5 out of 4. If you're going to see it, don't walk in with high expectations.

I still liked it tho. :)

Something told me Casino Royale would be better. It seems that many people are pumping Quantum of Solace up, only to be disappointed.

Exactly.

It's almost as if there was no plot or story line in Quantum. It was just shooting, explosions, racing and thennnnn... it ended.:(

Good information to know. To think...I was actually going to see it on Friday night. I'll save my money and go see "Soul Men."

Effin nice, Audio CD + double layer DVD.
BTW, thats the DVD playing on teh TV :rolleyes: pretty good, odd vids but still good.

Techlover who the f cares? It wasn't your purchase and no one shoved it down your throat. Saying it looks disgusting is one thing, continuing on is another. We get it, you don't like it. I agree, it's gross but again, no one is forcing any of us to eat it.

For posterity, my last purchase was a Christmas present for a buddy. He'll get it about 22 days before Christmas, but it's the last time I'll get to see him so ... early Christmas presents for him I guess. /shrug

I just went to see Quantum of Solace and stopped to get Arby's 5 for 5 myself!!

I agree Casino Royale was better, but it was still good

I'll be having Arby's all week now... good deal
But I ordered mine plain, without the cheese
I figure I can keep them longer that way :eek:
