This beauty, yummy, I say.

Very, VERY yummy indeed! :D

I got the same one (along with a 50mm f1.4 lens and flash L bracket) for portrait photography and to use it as a slave flash for my macro setup. I look forward to your shots!

Just remember to bounce, bounce, bounce! ;)

EDIT: Um, without a quoted pic, that last line may be misleading. We're talking about a flash here, and we're bouncing light. ;)

I love my TiVo HD.

Mine will probably be on the auction block soon though. We're getting AT&T U-Verse and you can't use a TiVo with their service, but their own DVR.

I'll miss it, but anything has got to be an improvement over Charter, who we have been stuck with for, well, forever basically seeing as how DSL was never available at our house. I'll miss my TiVo, but taking my CableCARDs and all of their other ****** equipment up to their local office to drop it off and cancel will be one of the happiest days of my life.

I can't wait...seriously, whoever designed Comcast's DVR -- I hope there's a special place in hell reserved for that guy. It's got to be the most poorly designed interface to an electronic device that I've ever used. Totally unintuitive, especially if you've ever used a TiVo before.

eww....dell!! every dell i've owned has crashed, had 5 hd's replaced under warranty for melted disks? at least thats what they told me was wrong with em lol.

I'd love to get an Xserve, but that would cost way too much. Besides, this T100 is just a home server that I'm using to mess around with VMware. :)

Yah I know that lol...Ive just had dells in my family since I remember, cousin of my moms worked for them so we always had their stuff. It wasn't till I started using the computers hardcore that I realized they were cheaply built and full of bugs. I inherited an inspiron 600M from my mom a few years back, and went through 5 HD's within a year. I was constantly on it, and never turned it off, and it often ran on my carpet so I assume heat had something to do with burning up the HD's. I have spent hours on the phone with dell, and couldnt understand the ervice people at all, all spoke like they were in india! Anyways, hope your dell isnt as bad as mine....sorry for the rant!

I know it's Microsoft, but every Logitech mouse I've owned has ended up being a piece of garbage, so I figured I'd try something new.

Dell's server side is nothing to sneeze at. They are powerful, cheap, and in my experience, relatively problem free.

The laptops are another story based on my personal sample.

I think we should end this petty argument based on this alone & get back to posting pics. Dell doesn't hold the spot of 2nd biggest system builder in the world by selling machines that all 'crash & have 5 hard disk failures each year'.

Taking my own advice, my last purchase was a bottle of Sailor Jerry. I'm addicted to Jerry & Coke right now, it's so unbelievably smooth~

I know, I know, but iWork 08 (except for Keynote) just wasn't working for me. I do a lot of group collaboration and the .doc files that Pages exported never seemed to open correctly in Office 2003 or 2007.

Samsung P2 8GB, and Logitech X-540s... which admittedly were a bad purchase, because I don't even use the back speakers, so I could have gotten a twice-as-powerful 2.1 set for the same price if I had just waited. :( Oh well. I'll eventually be able to use the back speakers, when I get a new place.

That was suggested to me by at a guy that worked in the liquor store. I love him for that :p
