It's six feet from me. It's like sitting in front of the Sun. I'm happy.

Completely agree. My TiBook is not doing well, but I refuse to ever get rid of it. I still look at the design and think it is revolutionary, even compared to today's stuff. I love the small bezel around the screen and how it looks like it is just floating there on two small hinges above the rest of the computer. I'm definitely a fan of its two-tone color scheme as well.

Yeah, I'm kind of hoping they'll bring it back one day, maybe as an anniversary edition or something. It really is just an amazing machine.

Over the years, I've had to fly around so much for work. I never have to pay for it seeing as I work for the airline, but I still accumulate frequent flier miles. I've decided to spend a bit of it on a week in Hong Kong. I have so much that getting upped to first class hardly put a dent in my account. The miles have been rotting away in the account for years so it's time to put them to good use. It'll make a good prelude to permanent relocation. There you have it. My latest purchase.

Asus N10J

Unknown to her I already purchased a refurb MBP for my GF and had her totally sold on wanting one - I thought - but she just loves these cute little netbooks. Then I read about OCing this one and some potential to add OS X...so... it's on order for her and I guess I'm selling my Mac Pro and moving over to a MBP. This is the first netbook that I actually thought may be worth getting. About a third the cost of the MBP I got for her too. She'll get it back on accessories I'm sure though. ;)

Looks like a real fun trip. A friend of mine worked for NW and one day coming back from a trip to Hawaii he realized he forgot his wallet at a bar a few blocks from the airport. Instead of just calling the bar and having his wallet mailed to him he just decided that we both should go back and get his wallet. Long flight, and about 45 minutes in Hawaii for me.:) First Class though:cool:

Don't know what it is, but it's nice that you bought something for your girl :)

That netbook isn't all that small. It's still a 10" screen but the bezel is far larger than any other netbook. And it has pretty much the same specs as other Asus netbooks, except for the very high end models which have dedicated graphics cards. You paid a couple-hundred-dollar premium for a bigger laptop that looks nice. :( The lower-end 1000 series EeePCs are just as cute. And you can OC them, and OS X works beautifully.
