That netbook isn't all that small. It's still a 10" screen but the bezel is far larger than any other netbook. And it has pretty much the same specs as other Asus netbooks, except for the very high end models which have dedicated graphics cards. You paid a couple-hundred-dollar premium for a bigger laptop that looks nice.The lower-end 1000 series EeePCs are just as cute. And you can OC them, and OS X works beautifully.
The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS 256MB VRAM on it was what I liked most. I thought all the EEEs had integrated graphics? Has gigabit LAN, 2 GB RAM and the HDMI output was also nice. For $512 shipped, seemed like quite a deal (after ebay cashback of course). Either way, she'll like the look of this one more than the other EEEs so should be all good.

I haven't received them yet (not my pic). I bought the se310 from the Apple Store yesterday, then I found the se530 online for such a great price, so I had to buy them. I'll keep the se310 until the se530 arrives thanks to Hawaii's no restocking fee.

It grew. I've been doing a lot of driving the last couple of days and it's pretty good driving music (assuming there's not a lot of traffic on LA freeways and I can cruise at 75). Really like Spaceman, probably my fav track on it ATM. Certainly worth my $10.
No problem. Saw they were only 50 and I have been looking for one for awhile.

Yes I know it is pretty expensive for a 500GB drive, but it is designed for Mac and most importantly it has FireWire 800 connectivity. 800Mbps versus 480mbps that USB2 provides. The choice was easy.
After my old hard drive broke for no apparent reason at all, I got this one because it also has a 5 year warranty.
And yeah, my old Apple Time Capsule also broke. I don't have much luck with these things.

Went out yesterday evening with some friends.. funfun. The gal behind the counter (who swore to me she was a 'Mac girl all the way') then proceeded to cut off a game a little over half-way through and say we didn't pay for it all ahead of time - even thought the system is computerized and - in her words - doesn't make mistakes. Operator Error. This comes after I paid with a twenty and she gave me change like it was a ten... she said it was a tip. Yeah.
