*Finally* got myself a halfway decent tripod. It's a loooong story, but I managed to grab a Manfrotto 7302YB for twenty bucks. It retails for about $125, so I'm pretty happy with the bargain. I'm *very* amateur, but I shoot some backdrops and posed scenes for my advertising work with my 40D, and this will come in very handy! :D

... and dropped way more money than I wanted to on my final school expenses for the semester. Thank God for credit cards.... I guess?

Nice! I had one a couple years back. Very classic and gorgeous watch. Though mine was on the leather band. Enjoy it!
Here's a picture I took of it when I got it.

Thanks! It's the first watch I've spent a decent amount of money on. Will it last well / a long time?

What happened to yours?

I wanted an automatic. So I sold it and went another route. Yeah, I'm sure it will last a while. It's a quartz.

Great deal. I need to get a new tripod after my last one was run over.

Refurb from the Apple store, $2300 shipped with tax included. Mid-2010 MBP 17", Core i7 2.66Ghz, 8GB RAM and 500GB (I replaced it with my Vertex 128GB). The MBP came perfectly and I love it. I did experience some freezing issues on the first day but gfxCardStatus fixed it for me. Hopefully Apple will release 10.6.5 with drivers that fix the freezing issues for good.

The new 2010 27" quad core i5 iMac for $1699 via apple employee friends and family discount.:D:D

Debated between some of the LowePro AW backpacks and the Tamrac Expedition packs, finally decided on this pack (Borealis AT), liking it so far.

$314.67 worth of books for my first semester of Freshmen year. And so begins my 7 year journey to my Masters Degree in Psychology.

(I'm in ree-ree math )

Prof, $314? Man you got off cheap. My 1st semester (I think it was like 6 years ago) was around $800, lots of chem, bio, math books, they're pricey.
I'm starting my first semester of my master's, one book is $200, another is $350, and some others in the regular price range of $90-$120. Our education system is such a racket.

Dylan, yeah man, good filters are pricey. This is my first decent filter. Looking at some ND filters next year, I'm spent out for this year though.

Dudeeeee, Chegg.

I only had to pay $14.67 out of pocket. My Pell Grant paid for $300. The Pell Book Voucher was only to be used at my College Bookstore, I believe.
