Do you know if they are any good? I currently have Soundsticks at the moment. Why on earth do these connect to your computer by Firewire?

I think soundsticks are better because they cost more. also I don't own these speakers, I just found the link for it :)

Been working on my house for quite some time now. One of the last things on the list was the office. It's almost done...gotta hang some art on the walls and find a nice way to tidy my cables away. Probably worth mentioning that I built the desk myself. I wasn't so keen on what was out there so it's actually a kitchen counter top with legs on it now. It's about 1 metre of the ground and I've got some cheap bar-stools from IKEA which are working out really well.

The iMac is mine and the MacBook belongs to the GLW.

Would you kindly share your wallpaper? Love it!

Sitting around in my living room and I realized that this is my setup 90% of the time at the moment...

2.4ghz MB from late '08 (see sig)
Mighty Mouse
360 Elite
42" Samsung Plasma

In light of what's on the screen I thought I'd share a funny comic as well :D

(poor quality image is a result of a crappy cellular device manufactured by LG)

thats a 2009

hows the quality on those anyways? Wal-Mart has the 23" for $258 and its tempting. Also, is it IPS or TN?

Its TN. I have seen them in stores and they look decent quality, the glare on the 'm' glossy models is possibly a bit too much though, but the pictures much nicer than the 'v' models with antiglare.

The gloss only "looked too much" because of the bright lights in store. At home, the glare is not so noticeable unless you have a light and/or window right behind you.

Yeah I was thinking that. I have a glossy screen on my vaio laptop and it looks great at home, it all depends on any light sources. I do think the picture is great on a glossy screen!

It's not this one but it's very similar. I can tell you that whatever model it is will be over $150.00 (for a lamp)...just sayin :p

Yeah, I found the Koncept Z-Bar lamps shortly after the first time that I saw that picture... but it looks like the one that he has is florescent based-- and HUGE!

I hope one day I will be able to justify spending 150$ on a lamp-- or, just simply have enough money to not need to justify ANY of my purchases! haha.
