Pretty awful picture. I took quick before and after photos for a friend, because he didn't believe how messy I said my desk was (no, I will not post the before picture, haha)

Taken with an iPhone 3GS.. just pointed and clicked quickly, so excuse the horrible quality.

I don't even know if you can tell that there's a second monitor toward the top right of the picture.. but yeah that's what it is.

This looks like a really nice setup. Its just a shame that it looks terrible from this picture haha.

lol! I can appreciate the honesty.

I'll take a better picture using my Nikon (that you see sitting on the floor) later.

What you don't see in the picture is my xbox 360, which is hooked up to that second monitor and two 1tb external mybook hdd's. And the laptop is a 13" new gen mbp.

I was thinking about getting a longer desk (something like an IKEA Jonas -- I have a Mikael now), but I finally found a way to arrange everything so it fits.

Oh and that dock sitting near my speaker is for my 160 GB iPod classic that got stolen. So now it doubles as a dock for my iPhone on the rare occasions I want to connect it to my computer.

That's quite the nerdy setup you got there. I don't think I could handle that much tech on my desk!

Is the second monitor for the Macbook?

No, it's for the Xbox 360 that's behind it.

I'm quite the nerd, so I guess it works for me, haha.

I thought about getting rid of it and just hooking the 360 up to my TV in my living room, but i'm kind of fickle with playing.. i'll play for 5 minutes, then turn it off for an hour then play for another 5 minutes, so it makes sense for me to have it near my computer, where I spend about 60% of my time at home, while i'm not sleeping.

I generally do that in front of the computer, ha.

I look up tabs and lyrics and ideas of what to learn, etc.

Plus my chair is ridiculously comfortable.

My current setup while I'm at home away from college. Only 3 weeks left at home!!! :D

In the pictures:
15" MBP (see sig for details)
24" LED Display
iPad WiFi 16GB
iPhone 4 16GB (still waiting for my 32GB), just got the Bumper in today
PS3
Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Surround Sound
Sleek Audio SA6 Customizable/Tunable In-Ear Headphones (for use at desk/home)
Apple In-Ear Headphones w/ Mic (for use on-the-go)

Uniball Kuru Toga Mechanical Pencil...
...I know this is weird thing to list, but it is kinda techie...the lead in it actually rotates as you write so that it keeps a point instead of getting flat like a chisel tip marker.

...and a handblown, numbered, twice-signed Fenton Dragon (was my HS mascot)

What stadium is that in your wallpaper? The color in that shot is awesome.

Is that against nerd code or something?

What kinda non-nerdy 28 year old woman do you know that plays xbox? lol

a really attractive one that has the hots for nerds, like my friend Michelle for example. there are plenty of them in NYC.

Finally got around to moving my room about a bit while I'm home from college. Here is my temp set up, the external screen comes to school with me. Haven't really figured out what I want to do with the Powerbook G4 yet.
