i understand what you are saying - quite frustrating. i guess i wont get one, i like my fast typing!

The iSkin one is too thick. I use the Moshi clearguard, it is very thin and doesn't bother my typing one bit. The only thing you have to get used to is the slightly soft feeling it has around the edges when the keys are depressed. iSkin is made from silicone, the Moshi seems to be made of a thinner and less elastic material (harder plastic). Plus I believe it is cheaper than the iSkin, go figure. Don't waste your time with the cheap ones on eBay from China, they will stretch and be unusable in a matter of months.

MacBook Pro 13"
Dell 20" Monitor (that I'm not using right now cause I gotta go to the Apple Store and buy a Mini DVI to VGA cable)

actually, you need a mini-DP-->VGA adapter..make sure you get the right one lol

^ I've sat in those chairs when visiting Wells Fargo to make deposits. :D I guess that's where the $30something overdraft fees and $10+ a month service fees come from.

maybe im dumb, but how are those keys black

ipad2 for me tooooo!

it did take a little bit of getting used to, it's only a cheap skin from ebay but has done the trick since i bought the mac in august.

i've got a white cover over the keys in the macbook itself too :)

it does trip people out every time they make their first glance haha

very happy with my setup now!!

managed to get that screen for AUS$184 delivered, have considered purchasing a second!

It's been a somewhat expensive year. MBP 15" 4GB/500GB 72K HR, 27" LED ACD, Bowers & Wilkins MM1 speakers, iPhone 3Gs 32GB (trying to justify the $900 iPhone 4 purchase when the next one's 7 months out). Off to the left, Time Capsule (1TB), Windows tower used as a multimedia server to the 32" Samsung TV, next to a PS3, Sony receiver, my 30+ year old English-built Celestions, and of course the Apple TV 2G.

What desk is that? Thanks in advance.

Are you guys serious? I post a beautiful bike next to the mac, (b/c thats where it will be sitting for the next few weeks while I work on it) and the only thing you can think of is "wrong thread".

it's not a busa, but thanks!

It's a GXSR and its an Appropriate place for the thread. iMac in background ... dude likes to get his work done efficiently and quickly just like he goes through traffic on his bike ... much more environmentally friendly than hybrid cars/trucks ... The Mac suits this lifestyle harmoneously.

Finally got around to cleaning up all the wires. Took about 3 hours to undo everything and route it under the desk and side desks.

Anyone know if they make ACD extensions that are all in one or do I need to just buy separate DVI, Firewire and USB cords. An all in one would be much easier to keep clean.

clean set up. I like it.

monoprice sells the combo extension wire sets. No mag safe power cord combo unfortunately.

Thanks. It is never this clean, thought I would take a pic while it was.

I searched monoprice and can only find the individual cables, not them all together in one. Could I bother you for a link?

Also they are the older 23" ACDs with DVI, USB and firewire 400.
