I had one of the first Aluminum MacBook's I bought as a refurb last year from Apple's online store and it was a great computer, but after a fall on a tile floor and just moving around alot it started looking kinda beat up. At that point I was kinda tired of Mac and I wanted a Windows 7 laptop to play some games and things like that, so I sold it to a good friend who wanted a Mac but didn't want to buy a new one. However I soon realized I needed at least one Mac system because I just love the OS in general, so when I was browsing eBay I knew that a iMac G4 was the system I wanted to buy. Not wanting to settle for a 15", the second my 17" came online I offered a price of $100 and the seller took it. When I got it in the mail it was more beat up than the pictures showed (the screen had a mark I saw in pics, but there were more than one and the base was pretty dirty). I gave the seller a Neutral feedback rating and he sent me a message back offering to take the computer back for a refund, but I had already fallen in love so I decided to keep it and clean it up really good. I'm going to replace the keyboard because it's pretty yellowed, and I think the marks on the screen can come off with some elbow grease.
The seller did say if I kept the computer he would take some off the price, but he's sending me a 512MB SO-DIMM instead which should help out the performance because right now it can barely browse the net with the amount of installed RAM.
People like you need to contact the seller first before leaving negative feedback. Nothing a little communication can't fix. It makes it easier for both parties involved.
