Really like this setup, will possibly opt for something similar in the future instead of the imac + laptop combo.

Would really like to use one of these docks though:

Tis a bit of a mess, but thats how i roll

16 gb ipad
2001 Powerbook 16 inch (10.4)
2009 mac pro (under desk) dual screen setup
2TB raid one configuration (black box on right)
1996 lacie firewire Hard drive (silver box on right)
Photo taken with 32GB iphone4

However the devil is in the detail of the network set up. The mac pro is a Wake on lan setup, streams all music, movies to my ipad and iphone, inside or outside the home network. It also streams to my xbox connected to a tele downstairs, and surprisingly it copes with HD backups.

I then have VNC, AFP access set up inside the network. Also accessible from outside the network using a VPN. Have sharing accounts set up for freinds who can log in and use my public folders via the VPN also.

Ill take a photo of my work mac set up later :D

Wow! How did you get such an amazing custom-ified model? They only mass produced 15 and 17 inchers.

But seriously. Is it a 15 or a 17 inch?

I would say definitely a 17 inch model. The length between front and keyboard is too long for a 15 by the looks of it :)

I say 17" as well, judging by the size of the speaker grilles, but if that's the case it has to be at least a 2003 model, because the 17" didn't come out until 2003. And if it were a 2001, it would be a 15" titanium, because 2003 was the first time they used aluminum in a PowerBook, with the introduction of the 17" and 12" PowerBooks.

Exactly, but if the poster can get the size of the laptop wrong, then they can also get the year of the machine wrong  Its a nice machine, whatever it is!

It's definitely an aluminum powerbook, can tell by the speaker grill size, hinge, key color, and that there is something plugged into the right side, which didn't come out til 2003.

I almost got one. But because I use a Speck Case 90% of the time, I couldn't justify buying a dock to simplify the process if i had to take the case off every time I want to to dock it or get rid of the case. I ended up getting a Twelve South Book Arc instead. I can still use my case, and if I want to, I can also take off my case and still use the stand.

New phone :)

I would like to use it with my universal dock, but for some reason Apple wants to sell me three of those adapters at once. I'll probably never have that many docks or iPhones

My bedroom set-up. I've just got round to wall mounting the 32" LCD, I use Air-mouse on my iPad to control the MacBook when it's hooked up to the big screen.
Denon HiFi is hooked up to an Airport Express for Airplay. All the plugs for this are on a large extension lead, fitted inside the cupboard, I still need to sort out the cable management to the TV though.
The iMac is set up in our office which is a total mess due to moving house... will post a pic when it's tidier. :)
